As we continue the "what will the Halo 3 standard edition box art look like?" saga, we believe we just got one step closer to confirming what the cover will look like. Previously, we reported on both Amazon.com and Xbox.com posting two very different yet official looking box arts for the game, so we weren't sure which (if any) were correct. But now Amazon.com has changed their tune and updated their product page to reveal new box art that matches Xbox.com. So, we're betting the "emotional" box art will be the final design for Halo 3's standard edition as both websites are using it. Super sized Halo 3 box art after the break.[Via Digg]

Man, I may have to stop visiting this site until Halo 3 is out, because all of these insignificant Halo 3 related news posts are starting to get retarded.
Do people really care about the box art? It could have the worst box art in the game and people will still play it.

It looks like it could be. I thought the amazon was to busy, but still it doesn't quite look right. I bet it is though.
Won't that also be in the legendary, doesn't it contain 3 DVD boxes within the head, I presumed the game would be the standard, and then 2 bonus boxes. That way I could have the H3 in my games shelf and the head on display somewhere

I don't really like the Chief's position here. he looks as if he's falling over and unbalanced. the background is nice, but MC doesn't really fit in. maybe the ol' "stand tall and put your gun on your shoulder" position would've worked better. o well. it's only box art and it's just my opinion.
