This week in the land of sarcastic game reviews with few pauses, Yahtzee targets the recently released Army of Two. Choosing to firmly grasp the obvious humor immediately, the review starts of with the expected bromance jokes, and then moves to the horribly cliched story, the poor AI and the lack of QA. As is custom with Zero Punctuation, there is substance behind the speed, and Yahtzee touches on some important gameplay and genre topics. But hey you don't listen to Zero Punctuation for the quality analysis, but rather the quality humor. As is the case with Zero Punctuation, the video can be found after the break, and is not safe for those of you at work.

Got this demo the other day, i have never laughed so hard after seeing what happens when you press A towards each other, or better yet pulling the right trigger.
I was tempted to buy it just for comedy value, it really is terrible. XD

Same here. Listening to that idiot say BRO every other word was great. I do hope it was done as a joke and they did't simply hire a moron to write the dialog. The demo made me think the game might have potential IN A SEQUEL as the first one is rough around the edges. It did have a pretty gay feel to it though. "Boost jumps" and "pull ups" combined with all the rubbin' and back slappin' gave it just a little too much of a creepy feel. I did find it prety damn funny in it's cheesyness.

Wow has homophobia taken us so strongly that guys can't even acknowledge eachother anymore... So I guess everyone from the time before 1950ish was gay.... Men used to be able to be friends hug and even be a little physical without it being gay...

I tend not to listen to the reviews of such individuals since I would probably be better off getting advice from a dancing-monkey holding a toothbrush.

i think the main reason why fist pounding is associated with being gay is because douchey frat boys use it as their main source of communication, and Greek organizations are ripe full of homoerotic rituals that they later play off as proving how manly/badass they are.

I dont take a word this guy says seriously, I just watch them for a laugh. He usually gets a thing or two right but I loved Army of Two, only in co-op mode. Like he says in his review the npc partner does break down.

And wow, lots of hate for Army of Two around here. Sure it's not great, but it's a fun playthrough with a human partner and definitely worth going through if you like co-op.

Some people really hate this game, which I don't understand. It also seems that most of the seething hatred comes from those who have not played it. Try the demo!

i really don't see why everyone hates this game.
its a fun co-op game, it has all the cover and fire techniques as all other games, a lot of weapons for variety, mixes things up with parachutes and hovercrafts, online is okay, could do with more than 2v2 though.
usually i agree with the majority when ppl say a game sucks, but i like this game, its no game of the year, but its fun. Even gears of war could take a few notes (being able to shoot while downed).

If you could shoot while downed in GOW, that would be GREAT! It's something that I really enjoy in this game, and I also enjoy the "last stand" perk in COD4.
Hopefully we'll see some innovations like that in the next GOW2.

I'm glad I don't listen to alot of the review sites. I thought this game was great, and that's just playing single player. I've tried Co-Op and that's good to. Although i'll only play co-op with someone I know and not a total stranger. There is alot of homophobic people here, but I'm also sure they still have little peach fuzz on their nuts still to. I didn't agree with this guys review at all. Granted they're supposed to be for laughs kind of, but even then it wasnt that funny this time around... That or he's just getting old already. He complains about games going the same route and what not, maybe he should change things up and stop acting like this "cool, bad ass" that has to bash everything that is semi popular and trying to be an "outcast".
