Turok sucks, that's a given, but Halo does not suck. The guy never tried multiplayer, co-op, or forge. His opinion of the game is based on trying the campaign solo and probably on normal difficulty. I love his reviews, but I take them with a grain of salt because he doesn't really play the games the right way, and chooses to ignore important aspects that make certain titles very fun, in the case of Halo, he ignored the very reason people buy it in the first place.

Haha getting red faced and flustered is what he wants, his opinions are just as valid as anyone else's (and usually a lot funnier).

Halo does kind of suck, co-op is the only thing that makes that series even bearable for me.

The ONLY and I do mean the ONLY good thing about Halo is the MP! The story if you wanna call it like that is weak and hardly even there. The graphics suck big time and it pretty much looks like you`re shooting at blue and violet fisherprice aliens.
I really don`t get all the Halo hype..People these days..

Kind of funny that of the 6 problems he blames halo for, it is only really guilty of one.

I also find it funny taht weeks ago he dissed uncharted for being white supremesist and now disses games for being multi ethnic.

That's why I prefer the AVGN. consistency. And he doesn't have to rely on amnerica's obsession with all things british to get laughs.

I love how everyone goes on the defensive of Halo right away *sigh* He wasn't specifically attacking Halo, he was saying all the things that games keep copying from Halo which make them all the same and thus horrid. Where's the originality for gods sake?

People, remember its Yahtzee at Zero Punctuation! His humor is great and his videos are always funny! Just enjoy them for what they are! For they pwn!

@ Deck err no..he did pretty much dump all the problems on Halo.

I thought at the time that was a bit..er..forced, thrown in just to be the cool kid. :s I dunno, i never take him seriously but I'd agree the halo bits was a bit er off.

I rented this game yesterday, and my god its a unenjoyable game, half the time if its not the one character the camera zooms in on it goes back to a resolution/ pixels the quality of space invaders.
I'm really wondering if Blockbuster will let me rent trade because I don't even want to keep it.

This was totally true and abso-flogin-lutely funny. I love the fact he spares no one. No mater if you have a platinum selling IP or not. He will find where you slacked and slap you with it. Just good plain fun.

He's right. All most all MMORPGS now try to copy WoW, all most all FPSs now seem to try and copy Halo. Computer games are not nothing more than big business and the same people that got their claws into Hollywood are doing the same thing to our games. And that's the problem with fanboys, you sit back and let it happen, pumping more and more money at them.

I loved everything about Halo 3, and I suck at it, but it is still super fun, and I have played through the story (co-op) almost as much as multiplayer...

If you LIKE Halo 3, that's fine. It's your money, your choice but don't please try and pretend that it's anything new or even the best at what it does. (Not saying that anyone is, just making the point). There is very very little in Halo 3 that frankly I wasn't already playing 6 years ago. In fact there is nothing much in Halo that I wasn't already playing on the PC at the time, Halo was just the first good console FPS.

Let me preface this rant by saying that the zero punctuation review of halo is one of the funniest videos on the net. But he missed his mark this time.

1.Halo doesnt have control issues. This is why every console fps after halo controls just like Halo or has an option to be controlled like Halo.

2.Halo: CE had multiple health bars and a recharging shield. For halo 2 and 3, Bungie only gave you one health bar and made it invisible, but the health system is still there.

3.Ok, he has a point on this one. Frag grenade splash damage got nerfed in halo 3 thanks to the bastards that play the game professionally (thanks mlg), but Halo:CE and Halo 2 didnt have this problem.

4.Halo rips off Starship troopers not Aliens.

5.Halo never does the head zoom thing to show your in control of the character.

6. Halo has pretty good voice actors. Some are unknowns and some are established, but they always seem to do a good job.

With that said, It seems to me that he hates FPS that dont follow the halo mold, since none of his "fps problems" are found in the halo series.

As for Yahtzee, I think he's hit or miss and as of lately, he had a lot more misses than hits. At first his rants were relevant and pointed out legitimate problems in games, but now he just shits on everything that doesnt play like his idea of a perfect game while simultaneously using as many phallic and 90's pop culture references as possible.

Hopefully what I say will keep you from making this mistake again but he said MOST of these problems not all of these problems. And the "misses" you speak of are to piss off people like you.
