Microsoft has teamed up with Pontiac, Mountain Dew, Zune, Gamestop, EA, Activision, Samsung and others to offer a whole bunch of prizes for their online scavenger hunt. And how it works is pretty simple. Starting Monday, November 5th players will have to scour the internet, using clues found on X Marks the Spot's website, solving gaming related questions in an ultimate effort to find secret passwords with green Xs on them. These X words allow entry into daily and weekly giveaways. Prizes including a new Pontiac G6 Coupe GXP (w00t!). There's goodies to be won, puzzles to be solved and Xs to be discovered ... so, are you up for the challenge?

I can not get 8 to work. I tried refreshing and I even opened the page in IE and entered the answer "expand". Is this not the correct answer?? It has the green x in the word.

Never mind- I guess I should really read the clues.... but to help some other people the answer to #8 is extreme. Perhaps "Expand" is for another day or perhaps just to throw people off.

ok like when u type in the words it says it is wrong, but it is really correct
what you gotta do is refresh the page or open a new tab with the page in it..type in the correct word first and it should work..it worked 4 me n the two i wus missing and had the right words
it should definitely work.
