Blair - did you miss out on the Roger's Video deal? Sure they were used, but I got mint copies of GRAW2 and Splinter Cell DA for $15/ea.

Couldn't find R6 Vegas though. Why isn't this deal up here? :(

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH. I just bought R6V at GameStop yesterday!

@ 7. Soup4Brains,

Buy from CC and then return the unopened copy back to GameStop.

Dumb question: Will Best Buy match these offers if I bring in the CC circular? I'd love to get these deals, but I refuse to shop at Circuit City after they fired all of their senior employees and told 'em they could reapply for their old jobs at a lower wage.

The face-mapping technology in the Xbox 360 version of Rainbow Six: Vegas really is quite awesome!

Being able to buy the Xbox 360 version of Rainbow Six: Vegas for only $39.99, AND get ALL of the new Modes and Maps from BOTH the Red Expansion pack AND then new Black Expansion pack makes it so the Xbox 360 version will have EVERY mode, map, and feature available, for $20 less than the PS3 version, which came out seven months later!

I'm going to sound like a fanboy, but I'm just telling it like it is:

* The Xbox 360 version came out 7 months before the PS3 version.

* The Xbox 360 version is the only one with face-mapping technology that lets you put your face on the characters in the game.

* The Xbox 360 version is the only one with rumble technology in the controller.

* The Rainbow Six: Vegas controls were designed for the Xbox 360. The PS3 controller doesn't feel right with the button setup. All the reviews point out the default settings of the PS3 can be modified, but it still isn't the same. The analog trigger buttons on the PS3 aren't as good, and the placement of the analog joystics isn't as good on PS3. And the games feel lame and fake without rumble.

* Rainbow Six: Vegas uses the PS3 hard drive to help with loading, yet the Xbox 360 version still loads slightly faster! Only one other PS3 game used the hard drive to help with load times (Oblivion) and in certain spots the PS3 version loaded faster than the Xbox 360 version. It's not like that anymore. Probably because the Xbox 360 Oblivion used a very early pre-alpha development kit that only gave developers access to one-sixth of the General Purpose CPU power.

Xbox 360 games always have the loading time advantage over PS3 games because Xbox 360 transfers data at 16MB per second compared to only 9MB per second on the PS3.

* Xbox 360 version is almost always on sale for $39.99. The newly released PS3 version is $59.99.

* The new Black Expansion pack updates the Xbox 360 version on Xbox Live for FREE so that the 360 version includes all the new maps.

* The Red Expansion pack that has been available for months on Xbox Live is now FREE, too! And you will get your 800 Microsoft Points REFUNDED back to you if you bought it within the last 10 weeks!

I am SO HAPPY I bought the Xbox 360 and Rainbow Six: Vegas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, Best Buy should match the advertised deals of local competitors.

Hey guys what stores will refund without a receipt?

@6 - I personally feel the only people who should do the apologizing are those that overreact to such stupid things so negatively... but maybe I'm from a different planet entirely.

is this a limited time sale, or is this going to be the regular price?

Xbox 360 really is an excellent system with excellent performance.

Xbox 360 really does outperform the competition.

I'm a HUGE football fan, and this years Playstation 3 Football games only run at 30 frames per second at 720p resolution, while the Xbox 360's Football games will run at 60 frames per second and be upconverted to 1080p resolution!

Plus, the Xbox 360 versions of those Football games are the only versions that let you FEEEEEL the TACKLES with the controller that RUMBLES!!!!!! The Xbox 360 controller really is the best one ever made for football games and games like Rainbow Six: Vegas and Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 2.

In IGN's review of Rainbow Six: Vegas, they make the same comment that everyone else does about how the Xbox 360 controller is better. They also point out how the PS3 version of Rainbow Six: Vegas doesn't have visuals as good as the Xbox 360 version. It's a great deal to pick up this Xbox 360 version for $20 less than the PS3 version, because the PS3 version isn't rated as high as the Xbox 360 version, and you can now get all the extra stuff from the Red Edition and Black Edition expansion packs for free.

Xbox 360 DEFINITELY is going to be getting ALL of my Football business this year, so I hope these stores offer similar deals for John Madden Football 2008, NCAA College Football 2008, and All-Pro 2K8 for Xbox 360!

So COD3 "Gold" was still $59.99, and I asked the girl if it was on sale. She asked me if it was a game :P, checked it out online(not noticing I had picked up the gold edition), and rung me up for $39! ftw!
