Eurogamer recently got their hands on an early build of the Xbox 360 version of Two Worlds, the open world RPG from Reality Pump and Southpeak. Eurogamer notes that the game's constant comparison to Oblivion is not unwarranted, and that the games actually share quite a bit as far as aesthetics and genre are concerned. Like Oblivion, Two Worlds gives players many, many opportunities to avoid the main storyline. Yes, there are sub-quests aplenty, so many in fact that you could probably spend dozens of hours in the game before beginning the main quest at all. The article does note, however, that many of Two Worlds' graphical elements (particularly human faces) don't hold up well compared to Oblivion. Likewise, the combat -- both magical and melee -- looks as though it could get repetitive quickly. Eurogamer remains hopeful that combat will be spruced up in the final version. They also believe that Two Worlds' much vaunted multiplayer mode could become the feature that sets the game apart. All in all, Eurogamer wasn't floored by Two Worlds, but they're looking forward to spending more time with the finished version.
Our question to you: is a free online multiplayer mode enough to make you consider Two Worlds?

I honestly don't think it looks that bad, graphically speaking.
And, really, I can't say Oblivion's combat system was anything to write home about. It worked, but it's not like that never got repetitive or dull.

@4 it means its not an MMO with a subscription like it was rumored to be.
Yea I don't see why so many people don't want to like this game, its like oblivion but with some better things, like the combat system, much more in depth if you ask me, sure still repetitive as hell, but hey its better than oblivion

Online multiplayer is what originally piqued my interest in this game. Without a doubt Oblivion is an awesome game, but can you imagine doing those quests with a friend or two?
Count me in- I'm excited just thinking about it. :)

I'm holding out for Project Offset. Despite having little information on it, I am still intrigued.
This Two Worlds game seems good enough, but if it is closely related to Oblivion, then I've already worn that hat...

Dont care how the NPC faces are. Faces are easy to update. Gameplay and stroyline is where it's at, and multiplayer ftw! Just release it such that when I get bored of it, Blue Dragon will be out in the UK. =D Everything's a makeshift until Blue Dragon for meh =P

Bah- Too much advanced hype comes out for these things and people start cementing their opinions well before they ever play the game.
Here's some advice. Buy the game if you're interested, and play it. Don't powergame your way through the whole thing, adding and multiplying various statistics to quickly max everything out. Don't read up on the net searching for glitches and exploits to take advantage of. And play the game before developing a set opinion on it. That's how you might enjoy it.

Sorry, that wasn't aimed at anyone here in particular.
I won't be using multiplayer.
One more thing. I don't mind some lesser quality graphics if it means more variety of graphics and monsters, NPCs, unique locations, etc. Oblivion is stunning, but it starts to all feel the same after a while.
