Pirates of the Carribean demo hits shores

The Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End demo has arrived on Marketplace, which is a good thing. The weird thing is the regions that it is available in, or more specifically, not available in. It's listed as available in all Xbox regions except the U.S., Canada, Mexico and Asia. So no go for North America, which is a little odd, considering the movie and its game are being made by American companies. So, Europe and other regions that don't fall into that category, can you play that first tutorial level and tell us how the game looks and feels?

3. It's not weird, it's marketing. Historically, every time a demo hasn't been released in North America it's because the publisher signed an exclusive distribution deal with OXM.

Anyway i'm sure that the demo will come here eventually and i'm not that excited about the game, but can't wait for the movie.

Besides with all the restrictions on regions outside the US and Canada I think it's good that our neighbors across the pond gets thrown a bone.

Oh yeah...

Hey Sinnix we read it the first time...

10. The graphics are really good. Excellent for movie-based games. The combat is a little slow and the AI is pretty crap in the sense that only one enemy attacks you at a time. Which actually helps the slow combat.

I can see the game getting boring with the combat bits but the exploration and item collecting should be fun.

Oh and the character models look fantastic. Truly well done. Treyarch should learn something from Disney here.

11. #9 yes.

The demo I thought was great!! The graphics are really good, truly next gen stuff.

Depp (biggest D-Bag on the planet) looks exactly like himself. The rain and water effects look ridiculous!!

I wasn't going to pick this up, but now I may.
