Video: Sacred 2 trailer and first look
After getting some play time with Ascaron's Sacred 2 last week at GDC, we also got our hands on two videos of the game. The first one, embedded above, is the official trailer for Sacred 2, featuring some CG cutscenes and some gameplay towards the end. The style should be familiar to fans of hack n' slash games like Diablo and Baldur's Gate. The second video is a first look preview that showcases some of the game's features. Sacred 2 features a seamless world (with no loading screens), 100 different suits of armor (with interchangeable pieces), and 40 weapon types. Watch the first look after the break.
What do you think? Is anyone eager for some hack n' slash action on the Xbox 360?

these are the skimpiest outfits yet in a game not intended to be a porn, i think.

You haven't seen or heard of DOA?????
The game looks nice. But they have to work on the gameplay. Looks very choppy (for lack of a better word) to me....
2008???

i think it's clear that DOA, and especially the volley ball games, were intended to be viewed in "Spankervision."

Well I'm certainly excited about this game, especially the four player online Co-Op and two player split screen Co-Op. Can't wait to get some more information on it.

@THA1icarus: Agreed. The original Sacred suffered for having a floaty, jerky feel to its combat. Looks like they're slowing down the speed of the game for the sequel and adding a lot more frames to the animation.
It still looks tasty. I'm starved for a "now-gen" Diablo fix.

Those female characters look nearly identical to the angels from the Spawn comic, especially the face paint/mask/whatever around the eyes.
