That doesnt circumvent the region lock , it only lets you see content from the marketplace of other regions , if the demo is locked to Pal it wont run on NTSC or NTSC-J consoles. also this is old! and they didnt find it first!
So far there is only one demo in the Jap Market that doesnt play unless the console is NTSC-J.

Remember ,for all we now the demo could easily come out tomarow in the US. The devolper is in europe I believe, so they may get news 1st.

The U.S. DOES have the RS:Vegas demo available already, the only trip is that you either have to be subscribed to or buy the OXM magazine that comes with a monthly demo dvd and the RS:Vegas demo is exclusive to the magazine for a few weeks.After the exclusivity period passes, then it will be on North American XBL I believe.
BTW i am currently playing the demo and all i can say is download it as soon as it pops up on British XBL because the demo is easily the best demo i've played in a long time.

I tried to sign up for the new Live account under an email set to the UK, with no luck. Is there something special I need to do? I had to bullshit the address ebcause, I, uh, don't live in the UK.

Andrew I'm playing the demo in the US right now. Here is the address I used. It's a car rental company. For anyone else not seeing the demo. Go under shooters. It wasn't showing up under new demos for me.
