1. I think it's pretty clear that what we're getting isn't a price cut - it's a game pack with PGR. Stores like Toys R Us even already have it listed in their computers. All this talk of a price cut is doing is putting people who want to buy a 360 off until the fall... and when the cut dosen't come they're going to move onto the Wii. If you're a true fanboy, you'll stop the price cut rumor-mongering!

3. I'd have to assume a higher capacity hard drive available (maybe not with the rumored pgr3 pack). It could set Sony back with the announcment of a better-than-ps3 periphial.

4. Remember all the buzz over the DirecTV deal, and how it suddenly disappeared from the headlines? Perhaps we'll see another major Dashboard update, and integration with the Zune, and DirecTV by Christmas time. If they could pull off streaming IPTV, it could be a coup.

6. I thought a price-cut was a no brainer myself. MS can afford the loses, and reducing the price would encourage more adoption which would mean more profit from games in the future.

Like they're making a loss already, they should make more of a loss and encourage adoption. I have 3 friends who would buy one if the premium was 80 quid cheaper.

7. I am still waiting for the surprise that was mentioned right before 360's launch (if anyone remembers)that was to take place about a year after launch. Microsoft has been planning this for a while and we should see their brilliance very soon. I personally think that the 360 has something inside of it that will be really cool. It will need to be unlocked with an update.

Does anyone else remember what I am talking about?
