Screenshots of Alan Wake will keep you up

A forum poster at PlayStation.com stumbled upon these screenshots of the upcoming next-gen title Alan Wake, being developed by Remedy. Alan Wake is a psychological (not physiological) thriller about an insomniac horror writer living in a small town in the Pacific Northwest. IGN says "the game features a massive, open world for the players to explore, with mission based exploration in the single player adventure." This is looking like it's still a ways off, but the screens sure are pretty.

I love this. There is like an accelerated increase of news about games for the 360. It's as if the console is finaly getting off its feet. Come on developers! We want to see more games! The time is near :)

Remedy is pulling a Nintendo here. Releasing NO real information on the game, just as Nintendo has released little info on the console, beyond it's innovative (but useful? who knows at this point) interface.

I want to see the games! REAL examples of gameplay! Not hypothetical examples, such as dentist drilling, or fishing!
