And there goes Sony's last chance of extracting several hundred dollars from me.
I'll be interested to hear when we can expect the new dash. I fear it won't be anytime soon.

I laughed pretty hard. It doesn't matter to me in the long run since I have both consoles covered. But man, the shitstorm rushing across the internet right now like some kind of demonic tornado of taco bell and fanboy spit has GOT to be the most entertaining thing I've ever seen. Ever.

Look at all the PS3 fanboy hate come pooring in! I love it honestly. They couldn't be more bitter about just losing an Exclusive. Of course the PS3 version will still sell better in Japan but finally us in UK and North America can get our copies for 360 instead. Today is a good day! Don't let the angry fanboys ruin it.

sorry. quick fanboyish reaction. just hope that the ps3 version doesn't suffer because of them developing for the 360 version.

Undeniably a HUGE freaking blow to Sony, the only way I could possibly see them counter this is with a FF VII remake.

PS fanboys can crack on changing discs or whatever, but I own a PS3 and I own MGS4, I'd much rather change a disc out every now and then, than have to wait 3-5 minutes for installations constantly.

Well, I own both a PS3 and Nintendo Wii, looks like they're both dead now by Microsoft. Long live one platform to rule them all in this generation. Unless Sony or Nintendo have killer press conferences tomorrow, Microsoft will soon take over the gaming industry. Guess I'll get a 360 this Christmas.

Dude... Nintendo is not going away... It's not like a heavy blow was done to them (seriously guys... Ive seen how useful "avatars" are already, and Im laughing that anyone thinks it will be different).... especially as MS has made it their OFFICIAL view that the two systems can co-exist very nicely. (Honestly, I agree completely with this.) Add to this an install base which globally outdoes the 360 already, and locally is neck and neck, and all the more they are both fine.
Sony, on the other hand, with a real lack of install base comparatively and no real games that are unavailable to anyone else....
I think what we are seeing is very possibly a return to 2 console competition as Sony is forced out (unless they pull something spectacular today).
