According to The Quarter Bin's recap of Top Cow Production' Comic Con panel, when talking about their future comic book licensing agreements they responded by hinting pretty heavily that The Darkness 2 is real and in the works. More specifically, Top Cow told everyone in attendance that "we can't say DARKNESS and video game sequel in the same sentence. So, DARKNESS. Wink. Sequel." So, there you have it. A possibly, maybe, probably The Darkness sequel announcement straight from The Darkness creators Top Cow. Fun stuff.

I'd be just as happy with no online, I don't think the game really merited it in the first place. The first one was solid, I don't have a whole lot of complaints.

You are not alone. I count The Darkness as one of the biggest pieces of shit I've ever played.
Bullet Witch was better.

If it's still be held by the same developing company it may be awhile. They still haven't released any new info on the Chronicles of Riddick remake.

Atleast I got to see Seth Green at the Top Cow panel, which I found odd but I guess he's a fan.

I was looking for a new FPS when I bought The Darkness and really wasn't expecting anything great. But it turned out to be a very enjoyable experience from start to finish.
I'd definitely buy the sequel. And as far as MP goes, I don't need it either. For MP, I only play H3 so the only thing I need is single player.

I hope there is a sequel, I liked the first one, it was a good game, I borrowed it from my friend a couple of weeks ago. I'm not sure if it was long though, since I was playing about 5-6 different games at simultaneously. It needed some fine tuning for the controls, the defaults were horrible (something I had to do with Kane and Lynch too) I hope they use some mo-cap suits and work on the lip synch, the first one was horrible with that.
Dead bodies going away would be good too. Random civilians I killed at the beginning of the game were there at the end of the game ((**Spoilers**) months later, he died twice which was like 2-3 week reconstruction I think.
I thought the idea of the multiplayer was good, but when something lags as horrible as that it's unplayable.

Sweet.
The first game was pretty awesome, but way too much emphasis on shooting stuff.
More emphasis on the Darkness powers please?
Skip the multiplayer, unnecessary for a game like this.

Also, include Witchblade and give Jackie his armor.
