It's strange. Games releasing on 360 with no demo, when there is in fact a demo waiting to go live, is getting more and more common nowadays. Having been released for a while now (and having been hugely delayed) Army of Two is now getting a demo on XBLM. On what will soon be the dev blog of the game, Assistant Producer Matt Turner revealed that April 1 (har!) will see the release of the Army of Two demo, and that players should look forward to their upcoming DLC. The Demo will contain the training tutorial and the game's first level, and the DLC will have several components, a single multiplayer map, two new campaign maps, and a new mercs obstacle course called SSC Challenge. No price or release date was given for the DLC at this time, though with the coming-soon status of the EA Montreal dev blog, we can expect more news relatively quickly.Army of Two: Demo on April 1, DLC on the way

well better late then never i guess, they must have been afraid to give the demo b4 cuz they knew them selfs that it would sell less copies if people tried it out first

That's exactly my hypothesis: games that the developers or MS at large feel won't sell well (based on any sort of criteria...but mostly suckage factor) have delayed demos released almost as a rule anymore.
A delay of demo is GOOD (for big money) in this case BECAUSE:
1- Those that were gung-ho on getting the title are the core audience and will buy it without a demo.
Give those fans less reasons to purchase the game and you lose that demographic.
2- The less people talk about the glitches or issues, the better the response could be on day one. You know the old adage, "no news is better than bad news."
Regardless, I think we should let developers and MS at large know we're onto them. If you see a new game on the shelf any given Tuesday and there ISN'T an active demo on the Dashboard, rent the game first..don't plunk down $60 on blind hope. There's no demo for Condemned 2 or Dark Sector, which the IGN reviews seem to shadow..

So, when are they fixing the lag on this fucking game? Ahh who gives a crap I traded it in for Dark Sector. Im way more satisfied with DS. Its just way more polished than Army of Clunky ass Controls and hit detection.

There are many good games with late demos, and many bad games with early demos, so I don't think the devs are keeping back demos for bad games so that they don't "scare" people away. I think it's rather that devs don't feel like that the demos have to be before the game's launch, or the devs underestimated the time a demo takes to get out to the public.
That said, I shall download Army of Shit and taste for myself its shitness.

The game isn't racist at all. There is blacks whites Hispanics arbs and Asians all shooting each other What is racist about that. Salem "white" even talks about who is the best wu tan member.

I wouldnt agree with the racist thing. Salem and Rios werent "rednecks" and didnt even have southern accents like someone else had implied a while back. They were actually pretty funny. But the game blows. Sorry.

I don't understand why people hate this game so much. I had a lot of fun with it. I have a few friends that have it, and we have a blast playing it.
I don't typically buy DLC, but I will be getting this one.
For those of you who think it's racist, you should try the game before you speak. It's also good to know the definition of "racist" before you use the word. You kill everybody equally in this game, regardless of race, color, or creed. w00t for equality!!!!

i dunno what everybody dislikes about the game.
i love it, split screening with my mate is awesome. Even if we decide to stop playing the actual game and just make our characters chase each other to headbutt or slap each other, its fun, so is fully pimping out all the weapons and running around shooting people with the rocket launcher and the gattling gun. The agro system works pretty well also, keeps things varied. It's no Gears of War, but it's still fun.
I'll probably get the DLC, i just need to buy Bringing Down the Sky first.

I don't understand all the blind hatred, I thought it was one hell of a fun game while it lasted. Any game where I can randomly break out into an air guitar solo while in the midst of battle is gold in my book.

It was fun while it lasted.
I tried to play online with a friend though, after long long waits we finally got to play! The same two people....randomly joining matches. 5 times in a row.
I saw the graphic novel at Borders today, flipped through it. Not too bad actually, it's well suited to the format, but not worth $12 or whatever it was.

This game is a blast. Smackin your teammate around, pimping out your guns, meleeing people with your face and pulling out a minigun to clean cut a crowd of enemies is just FUN. I've played thru it now on all three difficulties and Id go thru it again.

This is one of the best co-op games on the XBox 360, but if you haven't played it yet try the demo and see for yourself.
