It looks like Xbox Solution was right, as the Superman Returns demo is now available on Marketplace. Clocking in at just under a gig, it will take you some time to download. As we've said, we're cautiously optimistic about this game, so here's hoping the demo can fill those big red boots. We'll update you with impressions as soon as we get the chance.
(By the way, we're aware of the Halo news. We're working on it. I promise.)
Update: 360 Fanboy has just learned that this demo is currently unavailable to Silver members. Our condolences to you, because it's actually pretty good.

Played it this morning, its ok but after a while u start to get enoyed at how needy that damn city is. The graphics are "ok" and the voiceovers are terrible. I do like the feel of the flying and the hyperspeed and the fact that i can pick people up and drop em from way the heck up there...lol

justgot through playing the demo. the town is real needy, and why i gotta take people to the ambulance. the hyper speed is nice, but i would've liked to be able to go into space or under water. not sure how much replay value this game would have. after all you're superman. are you really ever going to find a villian that can stop you. i think not.

Well I just went to download it and it said it was available for "Xbox Live Gold members only."
This is the first time I have seen this. It does not please me.
Why should i have to pay a subscription for multiplayer services in order to download a single-player demo?

You get what you pay for #5 :P. I think Sonys free service will be charging a dollar or so per demo.

i'm sure it's asking a lot to have a huge expanse of land available to fly to at a moment's notice, but still... it just isn't convincing as a living city. it just looks like you're flying around a 3D blueprint and when you get closer you see some cars.
the "super speed" effect is a pretty good gimmick, the demo was worth the download just for that. don't think i'll be picking up the full game though... marvel ultimate alliance managed to make 20 or so characters each look much more detailed AND badass.

@#6 I paid for an Xbox 360. I did not pay for Xbox Live Gold because I don't play the online multiplayer portion of the games that often and I'm currently paying 15$ a month for WoW.
This is the first time I've seen any marketplace content restricted to Gold members. I thought Gold was just for playing games online.
