$10 Best Buy gift card free with Forza 2 purchase

If you don't want to be limited to Circuit City's free $20 video game deal, then you may want to check out Best Buy's Forza 2 offer. From now until June 26th, Best Buy is offering a free $10 gift card to anyone who purchases Forza 2 in-store or online at BestBuy.com. To cash in on the deal, simply add Forza 2 and the $10 gift card to your shopping cart or print off this coupon (PDF link) and take it into your local Best Buy.

A free gift card or a free game with a Forza 2 purchase makes our heart sing. The only other thing that we can think of that would make our Forza 2 experience better would be a price drop on that wireless racing wheel. Wait a second, that already happened didn't it? All the better!

Purchase Shadowrun or Forza 2, get a free game

This week at Circuit City online or in-store, when you purchase either Shadowrun or Forza 2 you get a free Xbox 360 game valued at $19.99. It's a pretty good deal seeing that Circuit City's rival Best Buy doesn't offer any incentive to buy either game. Though, you'll be hard pressed to find a good 360 game for $20 as we only could dig up games like Cars, Rockstar's Table Tennis, The Outfit, and (shudder) Bomberman: Act Zero in that price range. But, it's a free game for purchasing a game you already wanted to purchase ... you game to purchase?

$50 gift card with a Xbox 360 purchase

In an act of undercover retail leakage (no, not that kind of leakage) DigitalSomething posted scans of next Sunday's Toys R Us ad. And after paging through their images we noticed a pretty cool Xbox 360 offer. Beginning April 1st at Toys R Us you can grab a free $50 gift card with any Xbox 360 console purchase. Though, it really doesn't compare to this past Christmas' offer, but that was then this is now. Not too shabby of a deal especially if you're looking to buy a specific game or peripheral that isn't included in the various bundle offers.

Tower Records offering 25% off games

Tower Records is offering a 25% online discount on all video games (including Xbox 360) until January 22nd, even new releases! We looked up games like Gears of War and Lost Planet and they're discounted to a reasonable $44.99. Thought, the free shipping offer does not apply in conjunction with the 25% discount, so you'll have to shell out an extra $3 for shipping. Go ahead, take a gander and see what deals you can find.

Speling error mars Diamond Card launch

No, reading the Obivion manual by the dull glow of an HDTV hasn't given you late onset dyslexia. The spell check monkeys at Microsoft somehow missed a typo on many of the Xbox Live Diamond Cards hitting mailboxes this week. This is why they shouldn't let upper management do the proof reading. The saving grace here is that THRU isn't a real word to begin with.

By the way, I've never had this problem with my American Express Black Card.

[Thanks Tim]
