Responding to a thread on the official Epic Games forums regarding a rumored May release for the Xbox 360 version of Unreal Tournament III, Epic's Mark Rein responded that no release date has been set. Rein noted that the Xbox 360 version would be featured for press at Midway's upcoming Gamers Day event in Las Vegas. Rein closed off his statements letting fans know that the Xbox 360 version of Unreal Tournament III was, "coming along really nicely." Let's just hope this version strikes a chord with fans at retail.

UT3 has basicly been done for the 360 for 6 months. Mark Rein is a spoiled BRAT that when he Didn't get his way about "Mods" has on purpose tried to "teach" ms a lesson by holding back the release.
I'm boycotting UT3 on the Xbox. If GOW where published by anyone but MS, I'd boycott GOW 2 because EPIC is playing these games.
Just release the stupid game already. Stop screwing around with us.

He's trying to push mods so we can get some support on the Xbox.
Maybe you don't understand- MODS ARE A GOOD THING. I would rather have mod support for this game than to ever have it released at all.

Unreal Tournament 3 really kicks ass. Everything else is slow and lethargic by comparison. It gives me a reason to turn on the PS3 almost every day.
While I love playing it on my PS3, the lack of a PSN integrated friends list is going to prompt a purchase on the 360 as well. The friends thing is really a shame, but typical on the platform right now.
Of course, everything is not sunshine and lollipops on XBOX Live either. With MOD support, the PS3 version will remain somewhat "superior" until Microsoft figures out a way to accommodate user-created content.

I've played every Unreal since #2...never played online as i never had a machine that could handle the game that well, nor did i have an internet connection that could handle the multiiplayer nor did i actually BUY the game. I did however play on some of the higher difficulties and found it awesome fun.
I've been begging for this game from when it was released on PC and PS3...can we get it already?!
