It may have taken longer then a week, but Rockstar has finally been able to push their game fixing patch through Microsoft certification with the roll out of a new Bully: Scholarship Edition patch. The patch, which should be applied the next time a player loads the game while connected to Xbox Live, is supposed to correct the numerous Bully glitches and technical issues that gamers have been experiencing since the game's launch. Hopefully the patch does just that, resulting in a Bully that acts more civil and less problematic. That said, if the patch doesn't fix everything, we know gamers will be vocal and verbally let Rockstar have it.[Thanks, TMlad]

The thing is - anyone who bought the game without having an XBL connection is still going to suffer the crippling problems.
Unacceptable.

Mine seems worse after the patch, but that might just be in my head. My custom soundrack stutters when the game load things (which is something I've never seen before), and the buildings are loading slower. It still plays fine though and its still a fun game.

Sean,
Members with a free silver account should be able to download the patch, but you're right in the cases when someone doesn't have the ability to connect to live service cause of lack of high speed internet, etc.....bottom line is not testing appropriately is inexcusable for a company like rockstar, even if they farmed this out to someone for the port. I hear they left the loading all the same too from the ps2 which is inexcusable cause you should be able to run this game relatively load free on the better hardware of the 360 and the ps3 (if they release it on the ps3). rockstar, even if they farm it out, should be concerned with quality control of originals AND ports

I haven't had any freezing issues since I updated which is SO nice. I had one instance of the music going dead and popping a bit, but that seemed to be an isolated incident. I'm feeling this game more and more as I play it!
