yeah, my friend pulled the plug of another one of my friend's 360. He got the RRoD, but he just restarted it and it was fine.

Oh dear oh dear, maybe they are advertising :)
I really think the red rings should be made into a game.

Speaking of which, Bungie was thinking of a new IP, maybe I should suggest it to them :)

That's friggin' hilarious!
Still, it is saying something that I have already turned my 360 in twice for the good old RRoD within 7 months yet play it more than my Wii or PS3. Would I buy another Microsoft game console ever? No. But I'm gonna enjoy my 360 for as long as they'll keep replacing them on MS's dime.

Ugh! Sometimes I wonder if MS really even cares about their console business. They seem to do everything they can to counter any type of growth for the business. I know that's a bit mellow-dramatic but dang MS that is real embarrassing and a nice reminder to stay away from your console.

I really think it has jack-shit to do with the orientation of your Xbox. I'm lucky, in that I have a near-launch Xbox that has been sitting vertically all it's live-long life. What does matter, however, is how much air is getting to it. Mine has at least 6 inches of free space on any side. I don't see how cramming DVD cases under your Xbox helps it at all, but I guess everybody is an expert at something, huh Magic Whiskey? Fucktard...

Just putting this out there...
"Ironically, the maker of one of the consoles being blamed for cutting into the PC's market share is also on the PCGA's board. After spending billions on launching and promoting the Xbox 360, Microsoft has joined the board as part of its re-invigorated PC gaming initiative, Games for Windows."
So let me get this straight... Microsoft is now calling its own system out and wants to see the PC come back... Hmm...
I guess they want to go back to making OS's that don't run properly. Come on. If VISTA wasn't a sign on how the 360 was going to run... I don't know what to tell you... Although, It sucks for those who were struck with the RRoD.
