Today, Bizarre Creations released the official box art for
Project Gotham Racing 4 (viewable after the break) featuring a closeup of a red vehicle sporting a
PGR 4 emblem. It's quite the interesting choice for box art as we're on the fence about the design. But if you look closer you'll see something that's very interesting. Behind the
PGR 4 logo is the reflection of a motorcycle blazing past the car. Does this mean that motorcycles will be drivable in the fourth edition of the
PGR franchise and is this Bizarre's big exciting announcement? We aren't sure, but we'd be liars if we didn't say that we're a little uneasy about including motorcycles in our
PGR franchise. Here's to hoping Bizarre Creations knows what they're doing.

I actually think the box art is great. It's definitely not typical, which I appreciate.

Looking forward to this game and it will have a large user with this addition to the series. I don't think they needed to included motorcycles though. You can't compare it to Forza 2, they are two different racing types and you can't compare the environment graphics (or lack of) in Forza 2 to even PGR 3.

So I bought Forza, played it online, and almost threw my controller out of the room because during the first 5 secs my car was into pieces and could barely drive. That's terrible, although its a great 1 player simulator though. Then I went out and bought Dirt- Hands Down the best car game for the 360 yet, but then I played online and realized how lame it was racing against yourself. Who thought of that? So I'm ready for PGR4 cause at least its a fun arcade feel with multiple players online- and I think looks the best. Good racing and see you in Forza

crud, OXM said that PGR4 would have a new vehicle to race. I was hoping for hovercrafts.

Anyone notice the inconsistency in this image? The motorcycle has dry pavement while the car is splashing through a wet surface.

The graphics in Forza are great, don't pay attention to the demo, the retail version blows away the demo in graphics.

Have you played Test Drive Unlimited? It's not a racing sim by any means, but it sure is fun. I love just driving around the island crashing into other players. Incidentally, that's a game where the inclusion of motorcycles was a complete failure, but there's a wide selection of cars and challenges to keep you entertained.

@14 - I have to say that normally I'd scoff at a comment like this in some ways, but honestly, it's very true. While a nice track to race, they chose what is arguably the most boring track in the game to look at.
Also, as for playing online... the host can set the settings. If you're used to playing with more of the easy settings set up, then playing an online match where they're on is probably going to lead to you beating the shit out of your car pretty fast.
I never honestly found it to be much different from the single player of the game, although you run into some weirdos.
