After playing through Gears of War, have you ever wondered where that screaming sound those Wretches make comes from? Fear not, because the detectives over at joystickwidow have found the actual video that inspired that horrible Wretch scream. Now remember, this video is not for the faint of heart, this is extremely graphic content that we're labeling as ESRB Mature. Video is after the break ... if you're up for the ear piercing screech.

eBaumsworld steals content and claims it as their own, you should switch the embedded video to a version WITHOUT their lame watermark on it.

I swear the cat's eyes turned red during the second screech. I find it funny that my seven month old son, who was always around as I played through GoW, seems like he tries to immitate the screech. Its wierd.

That's scary as hell dude, I'd hate to be laying in bed sleeping and my son run in screeching at me rather than the traditional poke while saying dad over and over. You know that's gonna happen sooner or later and it's not gonna be pretty when it does.

I hate Eric Bauman as much as the next person but rather complain and point fingers at the thief why not actually do something. Go join in the lawsuit against him if you are a victim or something. Just quit bitching. Talking about it isn't going to solve anything, go do something constructive at ebaumsworldsucks.com
On topic here I was always hoping Cliffy B would come out and explain where the inspiration for the screech came from. Like when he was a child and his mother got really pissed off she made that noise.

I'm not sure this is the "actual" video which inspired the Wretches wail.
The cat screeches, fair enough, but this doesn't make it the "actual" video which inspired one of my ex-girlfriends to use that noise when she was pissed off.

While the topic of this post is funny... am I the only reader that feels sorry for the cat? I mean, that poor thing must have gone through some traumatic things in it's life if it's that fearful of people. Yeah, it sounds crazy and makes you chuckle; but there's a reason it's having that reaction, and I doubt it's a funny one.

Holy cow... that is the most pissed off cat I've ever seen. I sent this to everyone in my address book... I don't know if I should laugh or just pity the poor thing.
