Reader TacoHead is building a database of Xbox 360 faceplates. He's got a pretty solid list judged for rarity and value. A useful tool for the collector -- or the copycat. Note that the recently discussed GoW E3 plate is far from the most prized. If you know of something that should be included send it to [email protected].

I love how the system has been out since November and there's still only a few faceplates.
It's amazing there are so many of these (if you check out TacoHead's site) and absolutely aggrevating that you can only get your hands on so few for a reasonable price (if you call $20+ tax for 2 oz. of injection-molded plastic reasonable).
Grrrr....

This just reminds me how dissapointed I am that the "console" faceplate was never released.
That said the zero hour faceplate and several others are hella sweet.

I agree with #1, I rarely see any faceplates for sale. When I do, it's always the MS wood or blue faceplates, never anything new. It looks like this idea is not catching on as quickly. Though that website has a lot in their database. Odd.

They really need to release an official version of the E305 faceplate. That's one I might actually pay $20 for. My NyKo GameFace with E305 knockoff insert just isn't the same.
