In addition to being a horrible name for any product short of a Unicorn-themed globe, the Fantasy360 controller shell is a complete Xbox 360 controller case replacement. They don't have a shipping product, a place to buy it from, or even a price yet, but they do have a pretty sweet step-by-step guide on Flickr on how to put the damned thing together.
They're supposed to be available in four semi-transparent colors--and Chrome--this June, according to their press release which is available after the break, courtesy Xbox-Scene.

Project Fantasy360-Controller is the first of several upcoming casemod products for the Xbox360 platform that is manufactured and designed by Xtreme Enterprise. This casemod product provides creative gamers the opportunity to swap the original Xbox360 wireless controller shells for their favorite alternative color option. In addition to being perfect replicas for exact fit specifications, its high quality as well as ease of installation will doubtlessly bring many hours of creativity and fun to most, if not all categories of gamers.
All Fantasy360 cases are made from high quality ABS plastic materials with a polyurethane coating for durability and an acrylic shine. In addition, these cases fit like OEM and comes in 5 semi-transparent and solid color options at launch as follows:
* Plata Mid (Solid Chrome)
* Bleu East (Semi-Transparent)
* Clear West (Semi-Transparent)
* Crimson South (Semi-Transparent)
* Smoke (Semi-Transparent)
We expect this product to be released to major websites around the world where gamers are able to get a first-hand unbiased review of the quality and built of the products.
Detailed install pictures of the full process are now released in a pictorial format at flickr.com.
Afternote: Full console 360 cases (codenamed Project Fantasy360-Console) are also expected to be released in June 2006. Tune in for more information in this blogosphere.

I personally think it looks great, I love the blue color and this will go great with if I ever do the blue led mod that I have been planning, just gotta wait and get me a better tv, as we all know my blue controller is nothing when I can't play games b/c of my 5" B&W tv :(
I've heard they are also going to release full cases for the 360, possibly in matching colors, that would be pretty cool, kind of reminds me of the 64 days haha.

Wow. I have been waiting for something like this since seeing the fully customized 360 setup sold on eBay in the March issue of EGM. The blue looks very nice but i'm rather excited to see the smoke. I've been wanting a black, or at least a dark gray case mod for my 360 to help it fit in with the rest of the stuff on my shelves.

Shouldn't you flip the image around so we can see what it looks like when in use instead of from the back?

it seems like a waste to spend money on a controller case... i rather wait for msoft to come out with differnt color controllers like they did with the xbox1. oh and FYI Adrain they have the image flipped to show that the battery case,triggers and bumpers were changed as well.

that is way too complicated, i am not going to try to disassemble and reassemble my fucking 50 dollar controller to make it more pretty to match my ear rings. i will wait until M$ comes out with them which they probably will.
