EA Presents...

Everything from the visuals to the commentary has been revamped in this, the 20th Anniversary, version of Madden NFL 09. Environments and weather effects standout as the biggest changes as the field appears more realistic from perfect weather to ragging snow storms. The animation system has been revamped to appear more realistic but some players online are reporting inconsistencies when watching slowed down replays -- which also offer the ability to record and share clips of memorable moments online.

After years of radio-style commentary, EA Sports has returned to the time of full color-commentary in Madden NFL 09. NFL Network commentator Cris Collinsworth joins the monotone stylings of Tom Hammond for, what some early reviews call, the most accurate play-by-play the series has ever seen. While Collinsworth has already been named the standout presentation addition to the game, Hammond's work in the game has already been pinpointed by some as drab and sleep inducing.
