Terrence's Picks (4 of 5)
Terrence's Picks
Left 4 Dead
While the lead SKU is still PC I think it'll be great for some good co-op. Plus, it's been flying under the radar quite a bit so I'd like to see what else they've done with it. And since it looks like Dead Rising 2 won't happen for a while yet, we need another good zombie game; even if the Left 4 Dead zombies are more of the fast and deadly sort rather than the slow and relatively harmless kind.
Alan Wake
The so-called "free roaming psychological action thriller" has been off the radar for so long that many gamers have totally forgotten about it. While the only thing really shown of it so far has been a bit of tech demo and story, it's from the studio that did Max Payne, which I liked, so I'd love to see more of what they've done with A.Wake.
Bayonetta
Team Ninja didn't really get to polish Ninja Gaiden 2 to the perfect finish that it should have been and since I found DMC 4 to be a bit lacking, I'm really looking forward to the next big action game. And as an added bonus the premise of Bayonetta is almost as preposterous as Ninja Gaiden's: a witch killing angels with guns attached to her feet in a game from the creator of Devil May Cry? Tell me more ...
