Today, Korean MMO developer Blueside announced that Kingdom Under Fire II, a true sequel in the KUF franchise, is currently in development and is penciled in for a rough 2009 release. And even more surprising than a new KUF game announcement and news that there will be another faction introduced, is the fact that the game looks graphically stunning. Blueside released a handful of screenshots (including the one above) and if the final build looks anything like these screenshots then we just may end up drooling all over our television sets come KUFII launch day. Just look at those dreads and that armor. Oh, and is that a scar we see? Yummy.
The Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom demo that was previously released to North America and beyond last December is now available to our European brethren via the Xbox Live Marketplace. And we fully suspect (and hope) that all 1.2GBs are as tasty and equally RPG plentiful as its older North American demo. Hmm, not much more can be said other than the fact that a KUF:COD demo can be downloaded if you so choose or can always can go back to playing your Turok demo. A Turok demo that Live members in the States can't enjoy yet ... ho-hum to that predicament.
If you have nothing going on this Saturday, January 19th you're invited to a little Xbox Live Game with Developers shingding going on with the crew that created Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom. On Saturday, from 6:00PM - Midnight eastern, developers from BLUESIDE will be online dishing out the RPG pwnage and we expect that they'll also be heavy on the smack talk. Speaking of BLUESIDE, you can get prepared for the KUF:COD Game with Developers fun by sending friend request to either "BLUESIDECODEXP", "BLUESIDENETPRG" or "BLUESIDEGAMEPRG". Have fun gaming and if you get to play with anyone from the BLUESIDE crew tell them X3F sends a friendly hello their way.
Available on the XBLM to US, Canadian, Asian, Mexican, Australian and New Zealand Xbox Live subscribers (not you Europe, you'll have to wait) is a new Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom demo. This RPG sneak peek demo features gameplay of two stages from act one and will take up roughly 1.2GB of hard drive space. Interested in some KUF:COD? Then download the demo already you silly duck.

Hey all, Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom just got a date today and no, she's not making him pay for dinner (zing!). This RPG of doom and fire is set to release December 13th in Japan and Australia, January 8th in the US and Canada and February 1st in Europe. So, early next year you'll get your KUF fix and that's a promise. Oh, and if you aren't knowledgeable about KUF then you should know this game has randomly generated maps. And they are fully destructible too. We just thought we'd tell you that and let you know.
With the Tokyo Game Show officially kicking off today, a new batch of "Bringing It Home" content has landed on Xbox Live Marketplace. In addition to loads of new themes and gamer pictures, there are five new trailers for upcoming games. All told, there are new trailers for Virtua Fighter 5, Soul Calibur IV, Ace Combat 6, Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom, and Dark Sector. We're probably most intrigued by the Soul Calibur IV trailer, as it reveals a few more tidbits about the supposed final chapter in the series. Kingdom Under Fire: COD will likely disappoint fans of the series, as it isn't a true sequel, but rather a button mashing spree akin to Dynasty Warriors. Check out more trailers after the break. Now, if you'll excuses us, we have to continue crossing our fingers that we'll see a Ninja Gaiden 2 demo before the weekend is out.
