Registration for the U.S. Army sponsored Xbox Live Halo 3 Championship Tournament is officially open over on Xbox.com or by downloading the special Halo 3 Tournament picture pack off of the XBLM. The online tournament doesn't officially kick off until March 11th when Halo 3 players will have access to a special matchmaking playlist (we're sure Bungie will give us more details in a week's time) and be able to climb the ranks for the ultimate $50,000 grand prize.
