Fanswag: 6th Super Halo 3 / PGR4 Qee Giveaway [update]

Update: Oh teh noez! This giveaway is over, but you see who won and enter a new giveaway by heading here.

And so starts the sixth day of our Super Halo 3 / PGR4 Qee Giveaway and today we're headed back to Halo after doing two PGR4 Qee giveaways in a row. But we must first mention that msusig was yesterday's lucky winner as he took home an uber rare PGR4 Qee ... what a lightweight.

Like we said, today we're leaving the PGR4 Qee in the dirt and going back to giving away Toy2r Halo 3 Qee. More specifically, the Spartan green colored Halo 3 Qee that's sandwiched between the red and blue Spartans in the pic above. Again, the one fanboy who follows the instructions below by 5:00PM eastern and is lucky enough to be randomly chosen will be one green Halo 3 Qee richer. How do you enter? Well, here's how:
  • Since we're back to giving away Halo 3 Qee we figured we'd go all Halo 3 with today's entry question and ask what your favorite Halo 3 multiplayer map is. You loving High Ground? What about Standoff? To enter today's giveaway, simply post your answer in the comments section below.
  • One comment per person. Multiple comments by the same user will be disqualified. We'll accept entries until later today, Wednesday, March 5th at 5:00PM eastern. You must be at least 18 years old to enter. This giveaway is open to U.S. residents only.
  • On Thursday, March 6th we'll randomly choose and announce one winner.
  • One lucky winner will receive one green Halo 3 Qee valued at $20.
Thanks again to Toy2r for donating all of these wonderful Qee prizes and because we know some of you absolutely love official rules, we've posted them here for your viewing pleasure.

Fanswag: 3rd Super Halo 3 / PGR4 Qee Giveaway [update]

Update: This giveaway has ended. To see who won and to enter another giveaway, make your way here.

This, the third day of our Super Halo 3 / PGR4 Qee Giveaway, we'd first like to say congratulations to Zach S and team red for winning yesterday's blue Halo 3 Qee. Though, in all honestly, blue is ten times better ... just saying.

So, for today's Friday giveaway we figure we'll give out a Toy2R red Halo 3 Qee. It'll not only complete our Halo 3 Qee color offerings, but red was also the winner so it's only fitting we support team red. Anyway, let's finish this week's giveaways on a strong note by awarding Qee to the one lucky fanboy who successfully completes the entry rules below. Remember, this giveaway ends TODAY at 5:00PM eastern, so complete your entry like ... right now.
  • We're going totally random today with our entry idea. We're giving away a red Halo 3 Qee so we want to know what your favorite red colored food is. Yes, food. We told you it was completely random, but we want to to know. Comment on this post today with your favorite red food answer.
  • One comment per person. Multiple comments by the same user will be disqualified. We'll accept entries until later today, Friday, February 29th at 5:00PM eastern. You must be at least 18 years old to enter. This giveaway is open to U.S. residents only.
  • On Monday, March 3rd we'll randomly choose and announce one winner.
  • One lucky winner will receive one red Halo 3 Qee valued at $20.
Have a happy Friday, good luck and another big thank you to Toy2R for giving us the Qee goods. Official giveaway rules can be viewed right here.

Reminder: win tons of 360 accessories

We just haven't had the heart to tell Li'l Chief that his beloved case of Xbox 360 accessories is about to be given away to an X3F reader. Speaking of which, if you haven't registered to win yet, you've still got some time before we close the giveaway tomorrow. You could win all of this:
  • Xbox 360 Media Remote
  • Vision Camera
  • Quick Charge Kit (with two batteries)
  • Play and Charge Kit
  • Wireless Controller
  • Wireless headset
  • 64MB Memory Unit
  • USB Wireless Adapter
And all of it's contained in the sexy metal briefcase you see above. Not a bad haul of swag for submitting just one comment. If you haven't already, you'd better head over to the official contest page and enter.

Fanswag: Win (almost) every 360 accessory ever [update 2]

[Update 2: Our winner has been chosen. Follow this link for the results.]

Already upset that we gave away his prized 120GB HDD, Li'l Chief is really going to be despondent when we tell him that we're giving away his Xbox 360 accessory case. The protective foam inside the case makes a perfect bed, you see. Now he'll be stuck sleeping on a stack of printer paper. But, Halo 3 draws ever closer and our need to give away awesome stuff grows stronger with each passing day, so give away we must. Just in case you can't make out all the awesomeness contained in the case, here's a rundown:
  • Xbox 360 Media Remote
  • Vision Camera
  • Quick Charge Kit (with two batteries)
  • Play and Charge Kit
  • Wireless Controller
  • Wireless headset
  • 64MB Memory Unit
  • USB Wireless Adapter
The winner will receive all of this and the sexy silver case that contains it (the lock combination is "360"). So, if you want to win, follow these simple directions:
  • Post a comment below. Any comment is acceptable, but we would prefer something positive. Oh, and be sure you only post one comment. Posters of multiple comments will be disqualified.
  • Entries will be accepted until Friday, September 14th at 11:00AM ET
  • On Friday we'll choose our winner at random and notify said winner via email. Once verified, we'll post the winner, who will no doubt become cock of the walk.
  • The giveaway is open to U.S. residents only, ages 13 or older (too many small parts for younger folk, you know).
Official rules, for those that wish to peruse them, can be found here. Best of luck to everyone.

Reminder: win a 120GB HDD for Xbox 360 [update]

[Update: The giveaway is now closed and our winner selected. Once the winner is verified, we'll put up an announcement post.]

Hey kiddies, don't forget that we're giving away a 120GB hard drive for the Xbox 360 in celebration of the impending arrival of Halo 3. Entering the giveaway is incredibly easy, and it will take you less than two minutes. That's two minutes for 120 gigabytes of awesome. All you have to do is head over to the official giveaway post and enter. You've got two hours to do it before we pick our lucky winner, so get to it already! Oh, and if you don't win fear not, because we've got lots more stuff to give away this month. Keep your eyes peeled next week for the next bit of swag*.

*Hint: next week's swag is even better (and more valuable) than a 120GB hard drive. Think about that.

Fanswag: Win a copy of BioShock, get it overnighted (Part 1) [We have a winner]

[Update: A winner has been chosen. Congratulations to ZappaKitty!]

So, perhaps you heard that certain Toys R' Us locations are selling BioShock early. While we haven't been lucky enough to find a copy at our local store, Joystiq has snatched up four (count 'em four) copies of the game and decided to share them with us! Yes, we'll be giving away two copies of BioShock right here on X3F. Even better, the games will be overnighted to the winners so that they can get their BioShock on before anyone else. Both Joystiq and X3F will be giving away two copies today, for a grand total of four. What do you have to do to win? Here's the skinny:
  • Leave a comment below that tries to make us not excited about BioShock (spoiler alert: you can't!)
  • You may only comment on this specific post once. If you leave more than one comment, you'll be automatically disqualified so be careful, ok?
  • If you enter more than once, only activate one comment -- otherwise we'll send a Big Daddy after you
  • You can also enter our Part 2 giveaway, and both of Joystiq's giveaways (Part 1 & Part 2), giving you a total of four chances to win. You can only win once though. Not bad, eh?
  • This contest is open to readers in the US only
  • Entries can be submitted until 11:59 am ET on Friday, August 17th.
Official rules are here, so check 'em if you've got any questions.

Doritos wants you to Unlock Xbox

You dream it. We build it. That's the slogan for the latest Doritos/Xbox contest called Unlock Xbox. The contest starts tomorrow and its overall goal is to get users to submit their video game ideas and create one of the coolest games evar! The catch is that your video game idea has to incorporate the Doritos brand in some way, so Nazi soldiers or dismemberments need not apply. Judges will choose the top five ideas which will be made into betas where people visiting the site will be able to download and critique the offerings. Then, a favorite will emerge and will win the right to be placed on the XBLA. Yes, you read the correctly. The winner will see their video game creation grace the XBLA as well as receive a great Xbox 360 gaming setup.

Start getting your ideas together, whip up something cool, and eat a few bags of Doritos, because there's prizes to be won and fame to be had. Just think, you could be the lead designer of your very own XBLA game ... w00t!

And now, the 6 Pac-Man contest winners...

After giving a single copy of Pac-Man away yesterday, today we have 6 lucky winners from the 309 commenters. The winning numbers, provided by Random.org, are: 253, 171, 166, 246, 32, 121. Which means that NYBOY07, Nukie, Jared Brown, DjDATZ, Riley420 and Justin A should expect an email sent to them with their redeem code for Pac-Man on Monday. Congrats to the winners and thanks to everyone for participating. Keep your eyes on X3F for future contests and giveaways. Thanks to Uncle Gamer and Gamerscoreblog for supplying us the six codes.

Win a custom painted 360 faceplate

Over at what the geek they're in the holiday spirit and giving away a choice of hand painted custom 360 faceplates. All you have to do to enter is write up a comment from now until January 15th, 2007 and you'll be automatically entered in the drawing. One lucky guy (or girl) will get to choose the faceplate of their choice and most of their painted faceplates are game inspired, so anyone would be proud to sport these detailed paintings on their 360. Check out the site, enter, and if you win pick the Assassin's Creed faceplate and be sure to FedEx it over to Fanboy Towers ... for "safe keeping" ... of course.
