Fanswag: The Post-PAX Giveaway [update]

Update: This amazing PAX giveaway has closed and a big congrats goes out to K3yblademast3r for his giveaway winning victory.

We finally got around to unpacking our enormous amount of luggage we took with us to last weekend's Penny Arcade Expo and discovered that we have a boatload of PAX swag. Too much swag for one person, so we figured we'd hold a few Post-PAX Giveaways this week for you to take home all the swag goodness. And, wouldn't you know, we're starting today!

Today's Post-PAX Giveaway is a two day long event (meaning you can enter twice) where we'll be awarding ONE lucky fanboy a ginormous swag package. What's included? How about an autographed copy of Halo Contact Harvest, some Red vs. Blue goodies, a Gears of War 2 Comic-Con poster signed by Pete Hayes and Josh Ortega, artwork done by Castle Crashers' own Dan Paladin and bunches MORE! Below you'll spot the giveaway entry instructions and a complete listing of what's included in this Post-PAX Giveaway. Remember, only one fanboy can win ... so get to it!
  • To enter, leave a comment on this post telling us what one Xbox 360 game you're most looking forward to playing this holiday.
  • Only one comment will be accepted per person per day. Posters of multiple comments on one day will be disqualified. We'll accept entries until 5:00PM eastern on Wednesday, September 10th, 2008. You must be at least 18 years old to enter. This giveaway is open only to residents of the U.S. and Canada (excluding Quebec).
  • On September 10th we'll pick one winner via a random drawing.
  • One winner will receive a PAX swag bag consisting of (1) Halo Contact Harvest novel autographed by Joseph Staten, (1) Halo Active Camo Master Chief figure signed by RvB's Simmons, (1) set of Red vs. Blue buttons, (1) Gears of War 2 Comic-Con poster signed by Pete Hayes and Josh Ortega, (1) Dead Space comic, (2) Fallout 3 Vault Survival Guides, (1) copy of Castle Crashers with collectible medallion and artwork done by Dan Paladin, (1) Naruto figure, (2) Legendary preview guides and (1) Legendary video preview, worth $100.

Steal (or win) Indiana Jones' Xbox 360 Elite

To go along with your new Indiana Jones gamer pictures, Xbox.com is offering gamers the chance to win one of five seriously attractive Indiana Jones Xbox 360 Elites. For teh free!

For a chance to win, simply make your way over to the official registration page, accept some agreement terms, submit and voila! Instant sweepstakes entry. Good news too, the giveaway is only open from today through May 18th, so the amount of entrants shouldn't be too large making your odds better. The bad news is that we posted this blog meaning the X3F-effect has already been unleashed as tens of thousands of fanboys race to Xbox.com to enter. So, we'll call it an odds of winning wash ...

What They Play is holding a giveaway

In an effort to bridge the gap between hardcore gamers, casual gamers and the adults who are responsible for said gamers but aren't in touch with the gaming culture, Microsoft partnered with the family gaming program called What They Play. A program that promotes family gaming, safe gaming, care, understanding, love, blah, blah, blah. All you really need to know is that they're giving away Xbox 360 hardware, an HDTV, a couple copies of Scene It? and a few t-shirts. So, make your way over to What They Play, enter the giveaway by June 10th and as an added bonus, they'll even send you a Family Gaming Starter Kit if you wish. We know we'd be more inclined to invite our parents into our GTAIV game session if Microsoft were to give us a new HDTV and 360 Elite. Wouldn't you?

Win a Mass Effect themed Xbox 360 from BioWare

BioWare, being the giving developers that they are, have decided to celebrate the release of Mass Effect's Bring Down the Sky DLC with a little Xbox 360 hardware giveaway. Some custom Mass Effect 360 Elite hardware at that. All you have to do to win one of these six super sleek and sexy Mass Effect themed Xbox 360s is to hop on over to BioWare's community site, log in and register for the giveaway. But know that their little Elite giveaway only lasts through April 22nd, so be sure to register by then and be sure to keep those fingers crossed. Mass Effect themed Xbox 360 Elite bounty is but a random drawing away.

Win Mass Effect DLC from Joystiq

We've got a brand new Fanswag Weekly giveaway going up tomorrow, but that won't prevent us from pointing to Joystiq's own Mass Effect giveaway or, to be more precise, Joystiq's giveaway of the Mass Effect "Bring Down the Sky" downloadable content. In case the word giveaway didn't clue you in, that means you could win the DLC for free! Absolutely nothing. The giveaway ends at 5:45PM ET today though, so you'd better head over to the official giveaway post and enter while you still can. Oh, and did we mention there will be ten winners? Because there will be. You know, just sayin'.

Fanswag: 8th Super Halo 3 / PGR4 Qee Giveaway

Sad news kids. Today is the final day of our Super Halo 3 / PGR4 Qee Giveaway and that means this is your last chance to win Qee (tear). We're sure the majority of you will also be sad to hear that Jedijoe9 won yesterday's Halo 3 Qee giveaway and you didn't. But don't be too mad, Jedijoe9 has great taste in Halo 3 weaponry as his favorite tool of destruction is a Needler. W00t to that.

So, for our final day, we'll be giving away a red Halo 3 Qee which was manufactured by the crew over at Toy2r. Hopefully, by now you know the drill and know that we'll be randomly awarding a red Halo 3 Qee to one lucky fanboy who completes the rules below and gets randomly selected. Oh, and we shouldn't have to tell you that the giveaway ends TODAY at 5:00PM eastern. Ahem, enter by ...
  • This being our last Halo 3 Qee giveaway, we just want to know one simple question. Why should you win? Seriously, why do you think you deserve a red Halo 3 Qee in all its Qee glory? To enter and possibly win today's giveaway, simply comment on this post telling us why you think you deserve to win.
  • One comment per person. Multiple comments by the same user will be disqualified. We'll accept entries until later today, Friday, March 7th at 5:00PM eastern. You must be at least 18 years old to enter. This giveaway is open to U.S. residents only.
  • On Monday, March 10th we'll randomly choose and announce one winner.
  • One lucky winner will receive a red Halo 3 Qee valued at $20.
Remember, this is the final Qee giveaway, so be sure to get those entries in and to visit the nice folks over at Toy2r for supplying the Qee. And, of course, the complete giveaway rules can be read over here.

Fanswag: 7th Super Halo 3 / PGR4 Qee Giveaway [update]

Update: This giveaway has expired. To enter a new giveaway and to see who won this one, make a click over here.

We're winding down our Super Halo 3 / PGR4 Qee Giveaway with only two days left, so we advise crossing those fingers and finding a lucky horseshoe if you have yet to win. But fellow fanboy Mitchy doesn't need any luck, because he won yesterday's Halo 3 Qee giveaway. And we must say that we also enjoy a good Team Slayer match in Standoff ever once and a while.

Onward we go with today's giving as we're handing out another blue Halo 3 Qee courtesy of the fine (and well groomed) folks over at Toy2r. And just like the six times previous, we will be awarding a blue Halo 3 Qee to the one fanboy who follows the instructions below and has enough luck to be randomly select among valid entrants. Remember, this giveaway ends TODAY at 5:00PM eastern, so enter by doing the follow:
  • Continuing with our Halo 3 entry question theme, we want to know what your Halo 3 weapon of choice is. We want to know if you pwn with the Needler, thwack with the Gravity Hammer or are a master of the Battle Rifle. So, to enter today's giveaway, comment on this post by telling us what your Halo 3 weapon of choice is.
  • One comment per person. Multiple comments by the same user will be disqualified. We'll accept entries until later today, Thursday, March 6th at 5:00PM eastern. You must be at least 18 years old to enter. This giveaway is open to U.S. residents only.
  • On Friday, March 7th we'll randomly choose and announce one winner.
  • One lucky winner will receive a blue Halo 3 Qee valued at $20.
Thanks for playing, thanks for reading and thanks again to Toy2r for donating the lovely prizes. Also, be sure to read over the official rules which are located down the hall, to the left and right here.

Fanswag: 6th Super Halo 3 / PGR4 Qee Giveaway [update]

Update: Oh teh noez! This giveaway is over, but you see who won and enter a new giveaway by heading here.

And so starts the sixth day of our Super Halo 3 / PGR4 Qee Giveaway and today we're headed back to Halo after doing two PGR4 Qee giveaways in a row. But we must first mention that msusig was yesterday's lucky winner as he took home an uber rare PGR4 Qee ... what a lightweight.

Like we said, today we're leaving the PGR4 Qee in the dirt and going back to giving away Toy2r Halo 3 Qee. More specifically, the Spartan green colored Halo 3 Qee that's sandwiched between the red and blue Spartans in the pic above. Again, the one fanboy who follows the instructions below by 5:00PM eastern and is lucky enough to be randomly chosen will be one green Halo 3 Qee richer. How do you enter? Well, here's how:
  • Since we're back to giving away Halo 3 Qee we figured we'd go all Halo 3 with today's entry question and ask what your favorite Halo 3 multiplayer map is. You loving High Ground? What about Standoff? To enter today's giveaway, simply post your answer in the comments section below.
  • One comment per person. Multiple comments by the same user will be disqualified. We'll accept entries until later today, Wednesday, March 5th at 5:00PM eastern. You must be at least 18 years old to enter. This giveaway is open to U.S. residents only.
  • On Thursday, March 6th we'll randomly choose and announce one winner.
  • One lucky winner will receive one green Halo 3 Qee valued at $20.
Thanks again to Toy2r for donating all of these wonderful Qee prizes and because we know some of you absolutely love official rules, we've posted them here for your viewing pleasure.

Enter for a chance at 50,000 MSFT points

Giving away Microsoft points is a shoo-in for exposure and free press, especially when 600,000 points are up for grabs.

The Battlestar Galactica marketing team is giving away some 600,000 Microsoft points to twelve lucky souls who enter their year long sweepstakes. Entry into the sweepstakes is super easy, just make your way here, fill out the tiny entry form and POOF! You're entered. The sweeps runs through November 2008 where every month they'll award one winner 50,000 Microsoft points (although the official rules says 52,000). And don't worry about re-entering every month, because one entry will do and roll-over each time. And while you're at it, try and win a trip to LA too.

Big Daddy wants you to win new speakers

Let's be honest, your current gaming audio setup is wretched bad, old and sounds like a vinyl record. Don't be embarrassed though, sometimes choosing to eat or pay rent is more important than getting a fancy new surround sound rig. It's all about priorities. But that's why there are online giveaways, giveaways where you can win speakers and make a Big Daddy proud.

The guys over at The Cult of Rapture are hosting a BioShock giveaway where they'll be awarding one lucky winner a set of NHT surround sound speakers that will make your ears sing with happiness. That is if ears could sing ... but that's besides the point. The giveaway is open from now through December 18th and all you have to do to enter is visit this webpage, fill out the forms and press submit (cross your fingers too). So go and get your entry on and maybe, just maybe, when December comes you'll have a brand new set of NHT speakers sitting on your doorstep. Now that'd be a Christmas surprise we wouldn't mind.
