Bad Company trailer now on XBLM
Video: Bad Company in-game footage
EA just released a new Battlefield: Bad Company teaser trailer including the same humor we've seen in the previous videos, but this one features a first glimpse at what the game will look like. Embedded above or downloadable through IGN is the new Bad Company trailer with lots of big explosions, small explosions and just explosions all around. Simply put, there are lots of things that go BOOM! And after analyzing the trailer frame by frame we must say that the in-game footage looks really nice with its muddy art style, polished character models and destructible environments. Give the video a watch to see if you can handle the Bad Company, their destructive humor and their smiley face grenades.

New Bad Company screens are looking good

Today, DICE released four new Battlefield: Bad Company screenshots and from what we can tell, they're pretty. All the screenshots are in game and showcase the Battlefield destruction in all its glory. Previously, we've been on the fence with the direction those trailers were going, but we can safely say we'll be watching for this game. Maybe the blend of comedy and war will be a welcome change to the genre or it could just get annoying. But, whatever happens, these screenshots show the visual potential Bad Company has. All four screenshots are viewable after the jump.

The Battlefield: Bad Company trailer that was made available on Marketplace this morning is now available online (also in HD). As a service to our readers that are currently chained to a desk and can't access a 360, we bring you said trailer. It's generally fashionable to take a few potshots at EA when given the chance, but we have to admit Bad Company looks like it could be a bit of alright. The trailer showcases something that many games don't: a sense of humor. The trailer isn't necessarily indicative of gameplay, but there's no denying that the engine is nice. Give it a watch and tell us what you think.
Yet more Battlefield

DICE has announced a new Battlefield game in addition to the upcoming Battlefield 2142. Entitled Battlefield: Bad Company, the game promises to deliver a solid single player experience, something lacking in previous Battlefield titles. This single screenshot presumably shows off the bad company in question. DICE hopes to bring the "unpredictable nature of the sandbox experience" found in Battlefield multiplayer to the single player campaign of Bad Company.
Could this possibly breathe some new life into an arguably stale genre? We certainly hope so.
