To heck with its rumored November 6th release, because EA just announced that the long awaited Mirror's Edge demo will be releasing to the Xbox Live Marketplace this Friday, October 31st (BOO!) Yes sir, come Friday you'll finally get the chance to live out your childhood career dreams and become one badass female messenger. Joy!
The Mirror's Edge demo will include the entire prologue, a brief tutorial and a chuck of the game's single player campaign. Additionally, those who pre-ordered the game will be able to use their special code to unlock the demo's time trial mode. Who knows, if the demo turns out to be golden we may demand a trilogy without a need to play the retail version. Yeah ... our hopes are high.

Why should it matter that it's not "official" Its a stie dedicated to the game with people that are dedicated to the game, not a particular console. That makes it a good general indication of what people are going to be buying mirror's edge for.
All that being said, yes, its an internet poll. But it's the best way we have of currently measuring GENERAL interest in a product en mass BEFORE its released. Those numbers will change after Nov. 11, but I have a feeling the XBOX will beat out the PS3 either way.

I won't be able to touch it till a week later which REALLY annoys me. But I've already tried playing it on a PS3, the controls are not what you'd expect and I hope the 360 controls are better. Nonetheless it's a beautiful game, even if till you get the hang of things, faith will handle like a brick.
The demo also comes with a race mode in which you can do various courses to get the best time or practice.

Mirror's Edge will also release an accompanying Remix EP inconjunction with the game. The focus will the the game's theme song, "Still Alive" and features 5 remixes from some of music's biggest names!
comes out digitally on 11/11. get ready!

Just downloaded the demo before heading to work. This game is amazing, and I can't wait till its released!! WOW... the time trial is not working so far at 7:30AM EST.. but maybe it will be up later.
