Remember that rumored teaser trailer for
BioShock 2 that was
reportedly found within the depths of the PlayStation 3 version of
BioShock? After a week of speculation, 2K Games has confirmed the trailer is legitimate. Gamers can download the trailer on the official
BioShock website and on the Xbox Live Marketplace, now. Considering the trailer can be accessed on the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 it appears that the title will find its way to all platforms but 2K rep Charlie Sinhaseni was a bit cagey on the details in a response to GameSpot, saying only "
BioShock 2 is
destined for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Windows PC platforms."
No announcement has been made regarding any kind of release schedule, timed exclusivity or exclusive downloadable content for
BioShock 2: Sea of Dreams, which is
being developed by 2K Marin and not 2K Boston -- developers of the award-winning original. Time to open that wallet Microsoft!

That big daddy toy in her hand is probably the coolest thing ever. That should be the figure in the special edition this time around...

2K Marin is made up of the Bioshock1 team from Boston (minus Ken Levine). I don't expect there'll be much drop-off from the original, and look forward to part 2 on the 360. Let's hope exclusivity deals don't screw anyone out of the experience ('cept maybe PS3 fanboys).

I love this teaser, so beautiful. Just I wish they would say who does the music. It's obviously very old, but it's so amazing. I am stoked for this game!
Also just picked up fable 2 and far cry 2 this morning!

I think song is Dream (when you're feeling blue) with Ella Fitzgerald singing, but it may be someone else. A lot of people have covered that song.

yes, that is the name of the song. i did some research on it, i found the Ella Fitzgerald version and it's much more up beat, as long as they brig out some sort of soundtrack with the game i'd be happy

played Bioshock once, LOVED the atmosphere, can't stand the repetitive gameplay.
hopefully 2 will use more of your plasmids for more puzzles ala Metroid and come up with an ending boss worthy of the game's fanbase (that last one? was NOT).
