After its Finnish premiere last week, the latest Alan Wake trailer is now available to the internet savvy masses. For a game that's been completely dark for what seems like years now, the trailer is appropriately cagey about the game, revealing very little that we didn't already know. We get a sweeping panorama of the game's setting of Bright Falls, Washington, hear rumblings of strange disappearances, meet Alan Wake's friend Perry (along with some locals) and get an overall sense of creepiness. That's about it really. No release date (or even a release window), no gameplay details, nothing. We suppose beggars can't be choosers and, hey, at least we got some new screenshots out of it right?
I'd say yes. In game graphics. Pre-rendered CG cinematics would've at least given the characters emotion instead of the wooden expressions
they have in this trailer. :/
Is it just me or does it look like they made no progress on this game.
Where are they getting all the money to fund this? Oh ya, MS.
Developers working under MS are like contractors working for the government. Overcharge, under deliver and take as long as you possibly can. Except Lionhead (I hope)
I can't wait for this game. It looks like a unique experience, albeit derivative in some respects. The character models seem rather outdated but other than that, looks to be a solid experience.
awesum, great looking game (so far) source engine? prob not but great as that non the less, can wait for this one to come out, at least a lil more info

Incredibly good graphics, is this in game?
My instincts say no, but I can dream, right?

Too many games coming out in the next 30 days to sweat a game we have no idea on a release date on!!!

Meh...the characters really suffer from the "Uncanny Valley" effect.
There still aren't enough details out about this game to make me really care about it yet.

yeah, really poor attention to character expressions. good graphics, it's just weird looking at these characters.

I'm interested!
Kind of reminds me of that game Fahrenheit on the ps2 (I think that's what its name was anyway).
