Today, Microsoft announced that the sequel to Lights, Camera, Action, Scene It? Box Office Smash will be releasing to North American stores on Tuesday, October 28th.
Box Office Smash and its trivia based on 250+ movies will be available in two flavors, bundled with the four big button controllers for $59 or without the controllers for just $39. Microsoft also announced that Box Office Smash will be the first retail game to support Avatars in-game, but will only be available once the New Xbox Experience rolls out later this year.

Also 28th Oct or before as possible release date for the NXE as Scene It uses your Avatars in the game

I'm pretty sure that the NXE is coming out in November based on the info. I've seen here on 360fanboy.
The original Scene It! was fun, so I'll probably be picking this one up, too. I'm digging the Avatars more and more...

If you're going to buy this game and haven't bought the first one.. It's 40 for the full package of LCA on Amazon. Save 20 bucks to get both

I thought the original game would have DLC.
Whatever happen to that?

I guess they decided selling you the whole game again was more profitable. With a game like this there really isn't a reason for a whole new game. A constant stream of new DLC could keep it fresh forever.

no no no. Target has it for 14.98
Some of them have it listed at 30 but it rings up at 15. The copy I got had a sticker for 14.98. Clearance.
I suggest you go to your local targets and see if they have any left. I had to go to 3 and they were sold out until I got to the last one.
15 bucks, for the game, 4 controllers and 8 energizer batteries. You cant beat that.
(also they have bully for 7.98)

Took me 6 Targets before I found one with it in stock AND selling it for $14.98. A few others had it , but one was $34.98 and another was $41.98. Best Buy is just as bad; I've been to some that have a 50% games and accessories, but go to another store, and nothing. Hit or miss.
I just hope the Target that said they'd hold it for me really DOES hold it for me.

Yes, Target is your friend for cheap 360 games. I can't tell you how many games I've bought for 75% off, sometimes even reselling them on Half.com or eBay and making a tidy little profit. I also got two games that were 75% off the already low 75% off price.
If Scene It is marked down 75%, Deluxe edition of GTAIV might be marked down 75% as well. Resell that game for even $35, and you've got some nice toys for free!

It seems to me that they made this new version with a lot of new features (avatars) .I think from what I have seen the game changed quite a bit. I want to pick this up. LCA is one of my groups favorite party games.
Target has great game deals. They had Strangle hold for 7.98 a few months back. I will go to get bully right away.
Here is my guess on the NXE it will be out by the time this game launches mark my words.

Could it be then that NXE is planned for the same day?? though, it NXE does come after Scene it.. I could see it being broken, with need of a huge patch.. I actually have no interest in Scene It, or In the Movies & Lips that MS wasted so much time over.. If my Avatar is to appear in a game I want something decent.. or use my Avatar's likeness to create a ingame character... something maybe like in COD... though I could see them appearing in Rare developed games...

I'm looking forward to picking this up. I passed on the first one as it had no Live play capability.
