Available for download off the Xbox Live Marketplace is a brand new PES 2009 demo from the developing crew over at Konami. The download, which clocks in at around 1.2GB, features four player online co-op and a handful of teams. Just as expected. So, now that you know your demo downloading mission, we think it's time to get a start. 1.2GB doesn't download itself.

Argh, absolute garbage! PES5 with flashy graphics? It aint anything like it! And how exactly is that progression?
Another year without a decent football game. Idiots!

Played the demo and it is so, so terrible in comparison to fifa 09. The animations are juttery and the whole game is just so arcadey.

Not a fan of the new Fifa 09 demo then? Fifa has made leaps and bounds in recent years.

Downloading now and ignoring the comments - I want to stay impartial. (Plus a lot of people don't understand football games - hence they buy Fifa!)

Yeah..really sounds impartial.

I haven't found a good football game since 2006 Fifa World Cup. Hoping there's one in 2009.

Hi Stuart,
Let me take you into the world of reality. Impartiality is derived from the lack of bias towards any demo played thus far. I maintained that impartiality until I played both demos. However, that does not stop me passing my judgement on previous FIFA games, and the people that buy them. Does that make sense?
Yours sincerely,
Raheem

When I started playing the demo I seriously thought I was playing last years version. They are exactly the same.
No improvements to graphics etc, some player models look worse than last year, and the kits look crappy too.
All they've done is got some club licences thrown in and the UEFA licence.
