The Duke hits XBLA, needs more bubble gum

It seems like it took forever, but Duke Nukem 3D is now finally available on Xbox Live Arcade. Take on the role of Duke Nukem, badass with a heart of gold, whose mission is to save the planet earth (and its chicks) from a horde of alien scum. The Xbox Live Arcade version sports saved films, a new rewind feature (no more constant saving!), and online multiplayer and co-op for up to 8 players. If you've never played Duke, we suggest you give it a try. It really is a great shooter, and introduced many previously unseen features in the first person shooter genre (like payable strippers, for example). The full version can be yours for 800 Microsoft Points.

Played the demo this morning. It holds up surprisingly well. The controls are very fluid.

Kinda laggy as far as deathmatches go, but i'm sure they'll iron it out. Easily worth the 10 bucks!

I used to play this all the time in jr. high and high school. We even had LAN gaming sessions in the computer labs after school. I'm gonna try it before I buy it though to make my final decision.

Played it this morning for a bit before work. It rules. Going to play all the way through it for sure.

Now they need to port Manhattan Project. That game is practically made to be a console game. Heck it's real 3D and everything.

Yeah it's a bit laggy when you're with 8 people in a deathmatch... well bit laggy.
It took me about 15 seconds after I press the fire button to actually see the gun fire. Like I said before, I'm sure they'll fix this with some update soon.

Too bad this is not available for me here in Brazil. Again! #%#%#%! No Gears of War DLC, no movies, !!!... Did they just forget about Brazil... i'm an American who lives down here now..where's the love.
