Also, tucked in towards the end of today's Banjo press release, is news that Banjo-Tooie will be releasing to the Arcade sometime in early 2009. Huzzah!

Preordered!
I have to admit, the prospect of a free N64 Banjo is what really swung it for me.

SO happy that Tooie is finally confirmed. That game remains my favorite collect-a-thon of all time.

Even though I have next to no interest in the brand new Banjo game, I may have to preorder it just for the free arcade game! I finished it around 5 times on N64... but I don't own it anymore!

Never played the game but it looks really good.
Nuts and bolts looks really good as well.
Damn my principle of never pre-ordering any game.

The original was the best next thing to a Mario game. I'm almost more excited about playing the first one than I am playing the new one.

Speaking of the preorder goodness, anybody have experience or just flat out know whether Game Crazy (Hollywood Video) gets these preorder bonuses?
After dropping my five bones, the kid behind the counter says "uh, yeah, whatever you get with the game you get when it comes out" leaving me with a less-than-secure feeling about my free Kazooie.
Help?

Good news mixed with bad news really. I get to play Banjo again BUT it comes at a horrid time. Fable 2, Fallout 3, Gears 2, Nuts and Bolts...holy crap too much to play. Still, free is free. I had this one preordered a long time ago.

This is cool, I've never had the chance to play these games, and I'm looking forward to Nuts and Bolts. This will give me the chance to learn the story of these games.

It is amazing to see the transition of Rare's games from Nintendo to Microsoft, obviously because of the buyout which was a while back but it is really nostalgic in a way to see the old games that were designed for the N64. Lol, I would have exected this to be released through the Wii shop channel but...oh well...the circumstances are such.
