Thanks to a camera phone wielding Walmart employee, we've been graced with the photo you see above which is a shot of an internal Walmart promotion flier that ultimately jump starts a new (and exciting) Rock Band 2 rumor.
According to Mr. Walmart employee and his photo of proof, we'll be seeing a Rock Band 2 AC/DC "Live at Donington" expansion that's set to release to retail (and maybe online) sometime this October. The RB2 information was supposedly listed as part of an internal document that detailed Walmart's promotional efforts for the retailer exclusive AC/DC album Black Ice. Can you say "rumor'rific!"
[Thanks, Phil]

dude, it's going to be in the Men's Clothing. It's all AC/DC i'm surprised he didn't get the other pages. If i can I will get pictures of them and email them in if I knew how. It's going to be a huge release thingy. NO specific rockband 2 stuff though, it's going to be just the regular bundle.

The picture says "first time in a music game" with regards to an RB2 expansion. Um, the song they use in the current RB2 commercial is AC/DC - "Let There Be Rock." Whoops. Or maybe they mean RB2 in general is the first time AC/DC is in a game.

Doesn't matter, "Let There Be Rock" is in the game too. IF you hadn't noticed, every song that's been used to advertise any Rock Band game is in the game itself. Why would it be any other way?

My guess is that it might be bundled with the CD or it will just be a card with a code on it. They sell some XBLA games like that.

Maybe you should look up Rock Band... They're already released a 12 song Who pack and a 13 song Pixies album. And it would be better in RB because, unlike neversoft, harmonix can actually make charts.

I can't wait to "play" all my favorite AC/DC hits... They (still) rock! Has anyone seen their display at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame? I work on behalf of Positively Cleveland, and we're getting the word out about the Rock Hall. I highly encourage all music fans (and especially AC/DC fans) to check it out. You can start on our website: http://www.positivelycleveland.com/visiting/things_to_do/cleveland_rocks/rock_hall. Also go to http://www.positivelycleveland.com/intheknow to enter to win passes to the Rock Hall AND a private tour from the curator!
Hope I haven't overstepped my bounds by leaving this comment; just working to let people know about what Cleveland has to offer! If you have any questions or concerns feel free to Email me :)
