@ Yank
I agree, at least about the fact that Dyack's face is all over X3F. Why is X3F all over Dyack/Silicon Knights' nut sack? I know Too Human just released, but it was in the making for HOW LONG? Have you checked out the Meta Critic score? 69 based off of 43 reviews. That's kinda crappy for a game that was originally supposed to be on the Game Cube back in '99 (I think that's right).

Guys, this is a themed week of Silicon Knights coverage. They were nice enough to give us a tour of their studio and an interview with Denis.
We're not getting paid anything to cover this. We had an opportunity to profile one of the industry's most well-known developers and we jumped on it.

If I were in Silicon Knights' PR department, I'd be pulling my hair out over this guy. I have too human, love it. Is it the greatest game EVAR? no. but its a lot of fun. However, the way Dyack talks to Xav seems like nothing short of an elitist mentality that someone was stupid enough to hand a microphone to. To put it bluntly...he comes of as kind of a wanker...
To Dyack: I'll play your games, but please don't talk anymore. For the fans man, don't talk anymore...

In my opinion Denis comes across as an interesting guy, he has answers for questions and expands on them to answer questions you would have never thought of asking. I still don't have too human, even though i know it's awesome. I played the demo, my friend has it. The only two things stopping me from previously buying it was that 1, all this negative press over the game and i was unsure of getting it. Finally played some of it and I LOVE it. 2, I get my paycheck tomorrow XD. Thanks for covering this developer, they really do deserve it, not all this BS they have been getting.

I remember back waaaay back when Eternal Darkness was still a couple years off and hearing Jonathon Metts talking about how Denis Dyack was the real deal and that Silicon Knights would be doing great things. You can see it in this video: Dyack is the kind of person who seriously tries to find the best solutions to the problems he works with -- he's not just paying the mortgage.
Fascinating response about the Eternal Darkness IP, eh?
