Board game aficionados may have noticed that the Ticket to Ride: Europe DLC that was promised last week is nowhere to be seen. As the name implies, the Europe DLC allows would-be railway commissioners to lay tracks across Europe (though we see that Ireland is left out of the fun) and also adds a plethora of new features (ferries, tunnels!). Joystiq has contacted Playful Entertainment, the game's developer, but has received no answer thus far. Our conversation with Microsoft turned up similar results, so for now we remain in the dark. We'll post any new information once we hear it.

They better make this DLC cheep. I all ready paid $10 for the game, it better be NO MORE than $5 to basically do almost the same thing I'm doing in the North American version. I think this should have been included with the original DL anyways, you know actually make a COMPLETE game, instead of sucking the cash I don't have outta my wallet. Errr. *End rant*

I feel like it was announced at like $7 or $8 or something equally outrageous. Don't quote me though. I'll be putting my tail between my legs and grabbing this when it comes out though. This game is just too fun!

Unfortunately I'm likely going to pay for the map regardless, but seriously, why wasn't this just released with the game? How hard would it have been to give us two maps?

When you buy the board game, they do not give you the expansions for free. I do not know why you would expect them to do it differently for the electronic versions.

It's not even an expansion, but a full stand along board game at full cost. You're right, I can't believe people are complaining about owning both for less than $20.... if you're a fan of the game, it will give you months (or more) of fun... if you're not a huge fan, well then obviously you're not going to buy it, so quite whining people.

Europe is out as of this morning. I enjoyed it after two games... some neat new elements and a few new achievements is nice. Check it out if you are a ticket to ride fan... even though the price is a little high.

I downloaded it also, but it seems that the content was already there and this just unlocked it, since the download file was so tiny.

I am thinking about getting this and/or the 1st. Can you have Europe without the 1st? and if you could only have 1, which should i get?
Obviously if i like it, i'll probably get the other, but which should i spend moeny on in order to get into the game.
