Rumor: Vader DLC to darken SoulCalibur IV
Once thought to be the only good, pure and white edition of SoulCalibur IV may eventually be tainted with DLC from the dark side. Rumor on the internets is that NAMCO's Xbox 360 edition of SoulCalibur IV, which exclusively includes Yoda and a white color scheme, may eventually get the PS3 exclusive Darth Vader fighter as a content download. Proof is in the in-game video pudding and, as you can see above, we have proof that both Yoda AND Darth Vader can battle it out in on the same Xbox 360. If true, are you willing to pay for a DLC Darth Vadar or do you demand your Vadar to be free content?

Should be free but i wont be buying this anyway. I'm betting Vader will be on the disc and they'll charge.

It better be free, i dont like the idea of paying a price to unlock whats already on the disc. Unlocking Vader would really sway me from getting the PS3 version over the 360 version.

You do realize that the PS3 version will have Vader but wont have Yoda. Hence the possibility that you would have to pay to unlock Yoda for the PS3 as well.

Holy Darth, how many times and in how many ways can you misspell Vader in one short article.

i've read people who've unlocked most everything in the game, that there is still a space between the apprentice and Yoda/Darth on the character select screen depending on which version you have.
should be free, but i wouldn't mind paying extra for Darth just to fill that space in the character select screen.

Hahaha at all the different variations of Vader.
But, it should be free because I'm not paying for ONE character that should've been included. That's how you know people are just being greedy assholes. *coughEAcough*.

Yeah both versions of the game, PS3 and 360, have an empty character slot. I'm guessing they'll charge for Yoda on the PS3

If Vader came on the disc I would of got this at launch.
With Yoda I will wait until the price drops.

While I think it's pretty shameful to make Darth Vader pay-to-play DLC, they could've mitigated a lot of frustration by making it free to pre-orders. That would have made a nice bonus and given people like me less reason to grumble.

Wasn't MS's policy that if something is free on another system it should be free on the 360?
I guess if they wanted to be technical, neither of these were "free".

You could look at it this way, its better to have the option to pay for Vader, instead of not getting him at all. I hope they dont charge much though, 400 points should be good.

First of all this isnt even a debate. I have both systems. There is no logical way to play fighting games on the 360. The d pad is horrible.
