Since all of Trent's new stuff is Creative Commons licensing, we should be seeing whole albums of stuff for RB eh? More impossible drum tracks coming up. :)

If it was being covered by that license, then we'd be getting it for free. (Since its a non-commercial one on The Slip.)

I doubt Harmonix is going to do anything for free though...just look at the setlist for Rock Band, it's awful. They're not going to give us good music for free when they're giving us garbage at cost.

Nope. Only Ghosts I-IV and Slip were released on the Creative Commons license. They were made after he left the label. As for them being free, Harmonix would just say that they were charging for the labor that they put into making the actual Rock Band side of it. Totally legal to do that, too, I believe.

I'm very happy about Last and Burn, although I question what I'd even play on guitar in Capital G lol.

Glad to see Burn and Capital G on there. Capital G has some good guitar sessions. And the second best Shinedown song to date... excellent. Unless the GH:WT tracklist is THAT amazing, I think I am going to be getting Rockband 2 because of all the DLC already there even though the actual setlist isn't that good.

I'm glad to see Harmonix is still telling us metal fans to fuck off almost a year later.
3 Disturbed songs and a Judas Priest album, meanwhile there's 100 one hit classic rock wonders and a metric ton of Rush and the Who.

they're ignoring the metal heads by only having a 3 pack of disturbed, yeah, couldn't possibly remember the thrash pack, A7X tracks, metallica pack, black sabbath pack, motley crue (questionable I know), in conjunction with the disturbed pack, and judas priest album...
there's a large portion of the who, because they released the whole album, (competes with the JP album eh?) and then you have rush, who's gotten what, 4 or 5 songs? must be some pretty heavy music if that's a metric ton.
c'mon, if you look at it, metal's fairly well represented, just maybe not by artists you'd like to see.

Still no TOOL... How disappointing. I would also like to know why Social Distortion's "Story of my Life" and "Reach for the Sky" have not been offered yet. Those were made for Rock Band.
