The Toddy McFarlane sculpting crew (the same crew who makes those lovely Halo 3 figures) just announced today that they've partnered with Acti to release Guitar Hero action figures ... yes, Guitar Hero figures of action. Odd, seeing that the GH franchise really doesn't focus on character development so our enthusiasm for owning a figure like, say, Johnny Napalm is kinda lacking. Oh well. The complete set of four figures (Axel Steel, Johnny Napalm, Lars Umlaut and God of Rock) will be available this Fall for around $15 a pop. Yup, yup ...
[Thanks, TMD]

With World Tour allowing customizable characters, why are they releasing these NOW? Wouldn't it have made more sense when the characters were actually kind of relevant to the series?

Like some other fans of the game, I would like to see Judy Nails and Casey Lynch in figure form.

The characters were never relevant to the series. This is a terrible idea and I hope nobody buys them, not even confused old grandmothers looking for a gift.

These do not appeal to me at all.
I think I could find a hundred better things to stand up on my tv.

Errrrr.... No devil?
Not that I'm into the figures (for any game) but the only 3 that interest me are the two birds and the devil.
I agree with previous comments, milk it dry baby!!
But I'm struggling to see how GH would be at the top of ANYONE'S list of 'game characters we must turn into action figures'!!
