Acti and Guitar Hero III are pulling another video game promotion card from their marketing deck (shout out to the free Halo theme DLC), with the announcement of a FREE piece of World of Warcraft musical DLC. WoW's viral, underground and cult hit "I Am Murloc" by Level 70 Elite Tauren Chieftain will be released as GHIII DLC to the XBLM tomorrow, June 26th to celebrate the kickoff of the 2008 Blizzard Entertainment Worldwide Invitational this Friday. But if you're a WoW addict, you probably already knew that. Actually, if you're a WoW addict you probably wouldn't be playing or even own GHIII seeing that your 40 hour gaming week consists of nothing but WoW. Third thought, if you're a WoW addict you probably aren't even reading this blog 'cuz you're busy traveling Azeroth. Humph. Press release after the break.

Well, I guess it's cool. How about some more music that's attached to a record label? Well, that doesn't suck, I mean.

I'm here... reading this blog... but yeah, I've been mostly into WoW lately... for some reason I've been sucked back in after a six month break... so anyway... exciting news this is for me!
My 40 hour gaming week (lately) has been about 36 hours WoW and 4 Ninja Gaiden II. If only there were more time I could finish GTAIV... Been itching to play some Halo as well... oh well...

I get suckered into this every year. All the ads say tons of DLC coming for and sure enough there's been like 3 or 4 band pack downloads. I don't give a shit about WoW. It's not even an xbox game, and GHIII isn't a PC game. What is the connection?
How about some actual music?

How little you know Nick.
Guitar Hero III is a PC game.
And the connection. A few months ago Activision (publishers of GHIII) and Vivendi (parent company of Blizzard, developers of WoW) merged to become Activision-Blizzard. It's shameless self promotion of the company's flagship pc product through one of its biggest console (and PC) games.

As a wow addict, I take exception to the statement I don't have time for other games. I feel this sort of prejudice is uncalled for. I will get Jessie and we'll march on this blog.
and yes, I am not being serious. To be fair the little kids in wow are a lot better then they are on live. Mostly because my troll can't understand common.

It sux because I've been waiting since last week to find out what track pack they were gonna release this week for gh3 as they promised a new pack every week of June. I was hopeing that within that pack would contain Weezers Pork and Beans as I thought it was odd the song wasn't included in RBs weezer pack release especially when Pork and Beans is thier featured song to promote the new album right now.
Still I can't complain about a free song.

Maybe they'll release an Age of Conan DLC pack when Symphony Hero comes out later this year complete with a plastic oboe, violin, trombone and chimes. Age of Conan is the superior MMO right now, may be coming to the 360, and has a rad soundtrack.
Superior MMO = my opinion... flame on bitches. I still can't convince my co-workers. But why are WoW players reading this blog? Go farm some honor and do your dailies.

I don't understand the concept of paying 30 bucks for 2 months of play on WoW thats like 180 bucks a year ouch... you could get 3 launch games for that price say, Fallout 3,Fable 2, and GoW 2.
