We have one giant complaint though, what happened to Deep Purple and The White Stripes? They were both previously confirmed way back when for inclusion in GH:Aerosmith. And, darnit, we want our promised The White Stripes! We're willing to trade in one of the 872 Aerosmith songs for our Stripes, get rid of "Nobody's Fault" or "Draw the Line", we don't care. Anything to get a track from The White Stripes ... humph!

I get quite the opposite reaction. Some very nice songs on this, it just went from "nah" to "maybe" on my list.
Is it just me or is GH:A pretty light on bonus songs?

Well I'm not a hardcore aerosmith fan but I'm sure as hell buying this day one. Still it should be cheaper than 60 bucks...

No Deep Purple? That was the main thing I cared about in this game. At least Harmonix comes through with the band, usually.
I'm happy to see more Cheap Trick, personally. But beyond that, eh. I knew it'd be mostly Aerosmith and I like some of their albums, but I think I'll pick this up used for cheap down the road if anything.

Far be it from me to dispute you Dustin, but it IS "Guitar Hero: Aerosmith", hence many songs from the band Aerosmith.
I couldn't care less because I hate Aerosmith but my wife loves them and is pissed at the crappy setlist.

I know i'm in the minority here, but i've been a die hard Aerosmith fan my entire life, you say bring on the white stripes, i say, why the eff were they ever on it in the first place, frankly i wish it was 100% Aerosmith and no shitty side bands, thank god they included classics like "nobody's fault" and "Draw the line". thats what i want this game for! not for "pink" and stupid new shit... trash talk all you want, theres a reason they got their own game, Aero's one of Americas greatest rock bands, RESPECT!

I already played it and its a complete copy of GH3. There is just something new, on each stage change there is a small interview video from the stars who are talking about the gig in the stage.. thats all. Just new songs and new backgrounds. But what did i expect? ^^

It does look extremely weak...but Uncle Ted is on it. Can't be all that bad with the Nuge making an appearance.

Well, being a complete Aerosmith fanboy (although interest has been waning in recent years) I love the idea of the game. I am pleased with the track list although I think the selection could have been a bit stronger. I really wish they would've left out the other artists and kept it 100% Aerosmith.

I'll be getting this, but mainly because I want a second wireless guitar. If you subtract the $69.99 a standalone wireless guitar would cost you, the game comes out to $30 (and includes a cool Aerosmith faceplate and possibly cool "tour" book). Seems like a pretty good deal to me. $30 for 40 songs is a good deal given that DLC normally runs two bucks or so a song.

Key things I think this game needs to be a good game is a 39.99 price tag for starters.
This is just an expansion of GH3 after all, with 41 songs. GH3 had 70 @ release.
Also, The ability to use your dlc from GH3 in GHA.
Lets not kids ourselves here GHA is the exact same code as GH3. There is no reason you should'nt be able to use it. I want the new songs but in getting it I'm not really wanting to say bye to GH3 and all the dlc I have for it.
DO these two things Acti and I'll accept GHA with arms wide open.
AS far as the set list goes, yeah there is a ton of aerosmith songs and alot of them I havn't heard or don't recall the names of.
I do like the fact that they put in the RunDMC version of walk this way and manage to throw in the original in the bonus songs.
I thought way back when this game was first announced that they said the game would consist of Aerosmith songs and songs from bands that inspired them?
SO exactly where are the beatles in all of this?
And what the hell is STP doing in this? (not that I object to it)
Seeing the Nudge in this one is bad ass but honestly, I'd rather of had Stranglehold and Cat Scratch Fever, while a great song, is ultimatley covered and preformed better by Pantera.
Seeing all the bonus songs are Aerosmith songs kinda makes me feel like Mr. Roboto in Gold Member asking Dr. Evil for a Bonus.
