Makes up for the MGS4 'disc' joke, and it's not nearly as corny and/or commercial.

Instead of making mildly amusing videos about a game series that is still doing well and has beaucoup more depth, EA and Dice should be focusing on fixing the broken gameplay and dying series known as Battlefield, Bad Company in particular.

Hey, some games might not be perfect, but humour certainly helps us get by.

The disc joke was moreso a reference to the MGS past using cds and dvds and not so much a slap in the face of other consoles.

It's funny how people say that but wouldnt have they addressed that on the PS2 if that was the point? If I remember correctly MGS2 and 3 were 1 disc so waiting for the 4th one to make fun of the 1st one makes no sense

Well, if you played the game instead of acting like someone took a shit on your shoe, you would know that MGS 4 takes a lot of swipes at the first MGS game.
So when you look at the disc swapping thing in CONTEXT, you would understand that it is an in-joke.

Whocares ¬_¬ MGS2 and MGS3 did not revisit a famous location seen in MGS1 did they, a locaton of which you had to swap disks in the first.
Does that explain?

Where the disc joke is made on MGS4 is where you would have changed disc on the original MGS on the Playstation. It was dumb anyways because of the install times.

That's hilarious! I really enjoyed the demo for Bad Company and I hope the full game is just as good. It's a bit glitchy but it's a demo. Hell if they can keep it tongue in cheek with spot on humour like that I'm all in!

That pic above is a lie. There isn't that much colour in MGS4! Great trailer BTW, just great.

Looks like someone hasn't played MGS 4 yet, lol. Anyways, this was a good idea for them making a joke about the best and most popular game right now, it should help the sales quite a bit.
