In our continuing effort to bring you fresh and interesting content, X3F presents Would You Rather ... a weekly feature that asks you the hard questions. The point? If you had to choose one or the other, which would you go for?
With his recent departure from Tecmo (well, technically he still works there until July 1), Tomonobu Itagaki has created the last Ninja Gaiden title of his career. It now appears to be obvious that his talk of Ninja Gaiden 2 being the last in the series stemmed from the knowledge of his future plans (aka quitting and suing parent company Tecmo). So, another Ninja Gaiden title is probably going to happen because franchises that make money don't disappear. The question is, do you think the folks at Team Ninja can do it without Itagaki?
We're sure they can, but ... would you want them to? So this week in WUR--a new Ninja Gaiden hits stores without Itagaki. What do you do soldier? What do you do? (Shooting a hostage is not an option).
Feel free to share the reasons for your vote in the comments. We'll share the results of the poll during the next edition of Would You Rather ... which hits X3F every Wednesday.
Last weeks WUR results can be find after the jump ... come in and check it out for free!

Shocking! Well, not really. While everyone still seems super excited for Alan Wake, most are dying to see what Peter Jackson is hiding behind the door carefully branded with the words "Top Secret". We know that door leads to Halo stuffs! No we're not psychic, you should just probably not use that Halo font. Dead giveaway.

Itagaki's a jerk. I'll give Tecmo/Team Ninja a game to prove they can be just as good (or maybe even better?) without him. For all his talk he never did anything innovative outside the realm of boob physics.
He also enjoyed suing some of his games' most fervent fanboys. I'm glad he's leaving; I just hope Team Ninja can really show their stuff now.

Yeah there really needs to be a third choice for people like me who don't give a ****.

You must vote in EVERY poll, even if it doesn't apply to you? Three choices kinda blows the whole "would you rather" nature of this recurring feature...

Well I'd like to vote because polls are fun (I would guess that's why X3F does them) but I didn't in this case since nothing applied to me.
This may come as a shock but "Would you rather A, B or C?" is a valid question. More than two choices is possible in this crazy world we live in.

yeah, but that would make it like every other poll on the web. Personally I like the A/B hard choices, even though they occasionally don't apply to me.
A third "I don't care" choice is basically the same as not voting anyway, right?

Kind of, the difference is if there's no choice you'll never know just how many X3Fanboys don't care.

How about from now on we just ASSUME you don't care?

Sometimes I don't know that I don't care until there's a poll!

Well you know there's one every week and don't seem to care! lol

I would have to wait and see so neither answer works for me really. I do think Itagaki takes alot of pride in his work and much of what we see is influenced by him. But Team Ninja is a team is it not, I cannot sell their talent short either. So for me it would be a little more skeptical of future games but not totally ruled out.

I'm sorry, but while I respect the man's work, he just comes off as sort of a tool to me. He reminds me of JP from 'Grandma's Boy'. I think he needs to exit 'The Matrix' for a little while.

I'm glad he's out and now they should focus on Itagaki's subordinate Yosuke Hayashi. I mean he made Sigma, and it was awesome. Despite TI not liking Sigma a lot of mechanics from that game are now in NG2. But whatever, I just hope now that that old fart is out we can see some really great stuff come out of Team Ninja instead of one man's small perverted dream.

I'll have to see a new game form each of them to determine.
I mean everyone talked about what a genius Dave Jaffe was for god of war...and it turns out that the games have only improved since he left.
