Update: OK, so don't shoot the messenger. Major Nelson, apologetically updated his post regarding the Ninja Gaiden II demo for all regions. Originally the demo was to be available to all Xbox Live regions excluding Germany and India but now it turns out that you can add Canada and the US to that list. So, no Ninja Gaiden II demo tomorrow for Canadians or Americans. Major still suspects a demo will drop some time this late this week. Also, he promises to talk to a few people about the mix up. Somebody's gonna get-a hurt reeeeal bad (some NSFW Russell Peters love for you in this time of mourning).
Gamers outside of Japan eagerly anticipating a hands-on experience with Ninja Gaiden II only have a few hours to go. According to Major Nelson the demo for the upcoming action title will hit all Xbox Live regions (excluding Germany and India) at 0200 PT tomorrow.
Our fearless leader has already had a few days with the demo and expressed his love for it in the X3F TV Demo Impressions video late last week. Anyone on the fence about picking up the game should try out the demo when it launches tomorrow along side the retail release.

I might try the demo for a couple minutes, but there's no way I'll be buying this game.

I never played the first Ninja Gaiden, but I thought I would give the second one a try because of all the great reviews on the first game and I like hack n' slash games in general. But when I looked at the first impressions video, the attacks looked really really fast... and it was hard for me to keep up which kinda annoyed me. Did any one else feel the same way?

You owe it to yourself to grab Ninja Gaiden Black and get your feet wet. You can find a used copy for around $20, or you can download it in Xbox Originals on the cheap at 1200 points. It's even in widescreen.

Thanks for the input! I am excited to check out the demo tomorrow. I'll probably end up getting Ninja Gaiden Black, as well as Ninja Gaiden II. It just looks so cool!!

If you have a PS3 (yeah I know..perish the thought, etc) you can download a demo of Ninja Gaiden Sigma right now, which is basically Ninja Gaiden Black with improved graphics. It should give you some idea of the difficulty that is present in a Ninja Gaiden game.
Then again, you might aswell wait till the NGII demo hits tomorrow, even if you do have a PS3.

@BananaBoat,
Actually Sigma's basically Ninja Gaiden with better graphics + playable Rachel. There's lots of content in Black that's not to be found in Sigma. ;)

I'll take playable Rachel over the extras in Black any day ;P
I was under the impression that Sigma had all of the Black extras though...hmm...by the time Sigma came out, I hadn't played Black or Gaiden for years, so I can't say I remember exactly what set Black apart from Gaiden. Well, whatever.
I'm now planning to stay up and sleep Tuesday away after playing the demo. Is it healthy? Nay sirs. Will my resolve allow me to stay up until 4am? Probably not sirs. I'm going to try thoughhhhh (please Microsoft, release the freaking thing early. How about midnight PST? -_-)

Well, it looks like we don't get a demo... I knew it was too good to be true...

.......F*@#
I had just decided to buy it tomorrow so that I get my free wall dealy. Now? My money is going to MGS4, and NGII goes on the gamefly queue.
Shame on you Microshaft.
I blame Major Nelson for not having the power to go to the live servers and flip the switch that turns this demo on for the US and Canada. Whoever actually has that power, should be speaking to the community. Not that Major Nelson doesn't seem like a good guy....but....gah.
