Spring Showcase goodness as we continue to dig through the assets provided by Microsoft. Perusing the
Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts fact sheet, we've uncovered a few tasty bits of info. First and foremost, the game
will feature multiplayer modes. Said modes will be available online, though the fact sheet is unclear if they will be offline capable as well. Given that Rare's other big game for 2008,
Viva Piñata: Trouble in Paradise, features offline multiplayer, we'd say it will
probably be available in
Nuts and Bolts as well. Cooperative multiplayer is listed as well, though the label "cooperative challenges" makes us think that co-op through the single-player campaign is probably out.
Oh, and in case you'd rather not futz with the do-it-yourself vehicle creation (you old fuddy-duddy, you), the fact sheet assures gamers that many pre-built vehicles are available. The fact sheet also refers to the vehicle creation as user created content. Could this mean that players will be able to trade their vehicle designs? Guess we'll have to wait and see.

Seriously? People are excited about this? I'd like a real sequel to the Banjo games that I love instead of this sandbox crap that looks like a mix between Rachet and Clank and Viva Pinata more than the games that made the series what it is... The trailer shows a series of mini-games with platforming in-betweens. The 360 fanboys should rise up against this like they do the Wii's mini-game collections...

OK, just to clarify: you're complaining about mixing one of the best games ever to grace a PS platform (Ratchet and Clank) and the reigning champion Rare game on the 360 (not a lot of competition, I guess, but still)? What's the problem, exactly?

This game looks really fun. I hope that they include local co-op so my wife and I can play together. I am very anxious to get my hands on this game.

User-generated content. LOL. They might as well call it Banjo's SmallBigWorld, just to make sure.

seriously, what the fuck is this? I liked the old banjos for n64 and they ROCKED! Now they are bringing it on the 360 (should be on the Wii but wont go there) and it looks nothing ive played on the n64. sure its next gen but look at them. It looks like that old water super mario for gamecube but banjo taking over. i dont really care because i dont have a 360 and wont be getting one any time soon I guess whoever is reading this is getting the hint that im a PS3 fanboy not a 360 fanboy-cough PS3 better- my buddy just thought i should check it. This is the first and only time i will be commenting on this so have a shitty night and have a horrible life. FURIOUS144

Im a huge hardcore banjo kazzoie gamer, but im not ashamed about how this new one looks. I love sandbox games and get excited when a really good new one is made. At first I had doubts about it, but then i saw how much you can customize the vehicles and i was like "WOW". I was especially excited when I saw the mini plane fly out of the vehicle in a video because it is something that has never been done so well. I hope they have chases and small hallways because if im getting chased by a bunch of guys, I have like a huge monster truck, and Im about to run into a wall with a small alleyway. I'd launch out a small rocket or motorcycle or something and go through it while they crash into the wall.
