Looking at the video, it seems like most of the really brutal moves are initiated as reversals or counters to attacks from the enemy, triggering a brief cinematic attack from Bourne. Beyond that, it looks like the moves actually performed by the player are limited to a few basic punches. Of course, we won't know exactly how it works until we lay our hands on a controller and play it, so we'll reserve judgment until the announced demo arrives next month. In the meantime, give the video a look and share your thoughts in the comments.
New Bourne Conspiracy video is really punchy

TBH, the reason why the trailers were perfect was because they only really showed the takedown moves and stuff.
As for the hand-to-hand, it looks like it needs a little work. In the movies, which is what the action is based on, Bourne would never stand that close to an enemy and be standing still in a fighting position - it's not supposed to be like Tekken or something. What really should be happening is something similar to the FlickIt system with Skate (no, hear me out before you call me crazy) - the game defaults to stealth, but you can go on offensive if you hit the B button or something. Afterwards, Bourne does extremely basic punches, like in the video, automatically - but, 'flicking' the analog sticks will allow for more powerful punches, takedown manuvers, racking up combos, more martial-arts-matrix-Neo style moves that you know Bourne has been trained to do, etc. Keep the figures on screen moving and flowing - but don't end the fight until the player tells the game to pull off some wicked moves. Other buttons could be used to, say, grab nearby objects - X could be used to grab a book, say, while in hand-to-hand?
As for the shooting, it looks like a direct ripoff of what was in The Club pretty much, which is actually a pretty good thing because the only problem with the Club was that it was too shallow of a game to keep you interested.
All in all, I think we're looking at a nice rental.

I'm not convinced by this video. The combat does seem a little too slow and push-you-punch-me-esque. Surely the other guards wouldn't just stand back circling the fight while his mate gets beaten up too, more Assassins Creed style would've been nice. The guns etc. don't really inspire me either all a bit too standard and as fun as jumping through a train window to get to the next sceton is it's hardly going to keep me occupied whilst I dispatch the hordes of enemies who've taken residence on a train (maybe there's a story line which makes that make sense though).
Anyway as that is all just from watching the trailer I could be wrong. I'll give the demo a go and see what I think after that.

I actually like the style of the game. i think we as gamers sometimes are a little to critical about a game. If a developer takes to long releasing it to give it everything u want then we all lose interest. If its rushed to keep the crowd happy then u bitch about it being not finished.
I think this game has promise as something new and they seemed to be keeping up with a lot of aspects of the movie we all loved. So a video game with those points should be fun.

Looks like Kane and Lynch with a hand-to-hand combat system. That's not necessarily a good thing. Definitely worth a rental though.

I like it when the last bot has a "Rock-Em-Sock-Robots" moment. Also, Bourne dealt with multiple opponents at one time, not this one on one bs.
